Waiting under the hood of the Audi RS Q3 is a 2.5 liter, 5 cylinder turbo, offering up to 310 horsepower at 309 lbs ft of torque.

With technological advances that coincide with the accelerator and exhaust systems, the new Q3 has 3 distinct driving modes; dynamic, comfort, or auto. Audi’s Quattro all wheel drive system is part of the 7 speed S tronic transmission. For the first time, this engine features a start-stop system.

Capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds to go with a top speed of 155 mph. Power and efficiency is combined, delivering a combined 27 mpg in city and highway driving.

The RS Q3 shares the dynamic look of other recently released RS models.

The lower front bumper stands out through the help of large air intakes on either side of the honeycomb style mesh grille.

The side profile has understated characteristics, to go with its subtle contours front to rear. Matte aluminum trim is present around the windows.

Aluminum inserts are obvious in the interior of the Audi RS Q3. The leather seats are stitched in a diamond quilted pattern which contrasts nicely with the surrounding white stitching.

Like other RS models, the gray background instrument gauges have white scales and red needles. A MMI/driver information screen pops up from the top of the dashboard. With the rear seats up, you make room for square feet of cargo space.

2013 Mansory Lamborghini Aventador Carbonado

In a press release from by Mansory Tuning, a new custom version of the Aventador has been assembled.

The 2013 Mansory Lamborghini Aventador Carbonado brings several improvements meant to reduce weight, tweak the exterior, resulting in improved performance.

The standard version of the car has a total output of 700 horsepower. Mansory reworked the 6.5 liter engine replacing most of the parts with ultra-durable material.

Even if no work has been done on the suspension and transmission, the new Aventador presented by Mansory gives you improved driving and handling feel.

Because of its reworked body, the aerodynamics and airflow have been improved. This tweak is also complemented by the reduced body weight due to the carbon fiber elements.


The front skirt has been redesigned for improved air intake and ventilation at the front near the radiator. Looking at the car from the front, the Lamborghini had its sides extended by 40 millimeters near the front and 50 millimeters to the rear which has been paired with new side skirts.

The supercar now looks wider than the standard model. Most of the exterior parts that have been replaced are now made of carbon fiber.


The Mansory version of the Aventador has an all leather interior with sports seats. The color theme are in shades of black with white elements on the seats, steering wheel, pedals and doors.

Also, a white trim line now crosses the dashboard from one side to the other. Carbon elements have been added on the doors and honeycomb-like textures have been used on the seats.

Mansory managed to take the standard version of the Aventador and improve on it. With carbon fiber upgrades, an additional 550 horsepower, and custom interior, the 2013 Mansory Lamborghini Aventador Carbonado has become an even more intimidating supercar.

2013 mcchip-dkr Mercedes-Benz SLS 63 AMG MC700

Launched in 2010, the Mercedes-Benz SLS series has been tackled with by multiple car tuning companies.

The German company mcchip-dkr recently released their upgrade kit in the 2013 mcchip-dkr Mercedes-Benz SLS 63 AMG MC700, boosting its horsepower without changes to the exterior.

The performance upgrade of the car was done in two stages. mcchip-dkr’s engineers first installed the new MC700 pure compressor and a stage 3 software upgrade.

The second stage of the upgrade involves additional sports catalyzer’s and a stage 4 software upgrade, adding an extra 26 horsepower, giving it a total maximum of 706 horsepower.

The transmission remains untouched, being controlled by the standard 7-speed dual-clutch semi-automatic gearbox.


The added power boost does not significantly affect the driving and handling feel. Steering is just as crisp and responsive as ever. With enough road grip, the rear of the car reduces slips at tight corners at high speeds.

Just like with the exterior, no changes were done to the interior. The Mercedes-Benz SLS 63 AMG MC700 features stock interior options.

mcchip-dkr offers the two stages of the upgrade kits separately. Customers can purchase the first one and skip to the second or get them both and get the maximum possible 706 HP from the German tuner’s performance-enhancing package.

2013 Lotus Exige S Roadster

A few days before the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Lotus announced that they would blow the top off at the show.

Most people thought that the convertible version of the Lotus Evora would be unveiled.

Based on new Exige S, this roadster is powered by the same supercharged 3.5 liter V6 engine. The engine delivers a total of 354 horsepower and a torque of about 295 lb ft.

It sprints from zero to 60 mph in only 3.8 seconds and up to 100 mph only 8.5 seconds. Since this car is a Roadster, safety precautions have been taken that limits its top speed to 145 mph. This makes this car, the next big thing to look out for.

Lotus’s 6-speed “close ratio” gearbox comes standard, also a paddle-shifter option is available based on your preference. The paddle-shifter means you don’t have to take your hands off your wheel as you drive. This also prevents errors during the shifting.



This vehicle also comes with 2 different suspension settings. Standard setting is meant for an active driving experience best suited to the public roads. The other option is developed for the track use.


The exterior is almost identical to the coupe model. This means the new front sprinter eliminates all the broken lines that were on the previous model.

2013 Galpin Ford GTR1

The US based car tuner Galpin showed off their 1000 horsepower version of the Ford GT.

The 2013 Galpin Ford GTR1 attempts to provide an imaginative evolution of the GT series and its potential transition into a supercar.

The GTR1 comes with a 5.4 liter V8 engine complemented by a twin turbocharger system. Its upgraded drivetrain is now capable of delivering 1024 horsepower and a torque of 739 pound feet that gives it a maximum speed of 225 mph.2013-Galpin-Ford-GTR1-long-lines-B


Using six-piston breaks, carbon rotors, and Pirelli tires, the car’s road stability manages to remain the same despite a tweak in its body.

The new aerodynamics improve downforce ensuring that there is enough road grip for tight cornering and high speeds.


The front bumper has been replaced with a new one that is closer to the ground making the car look more aggressive than it already is. Work on the front also included modifications to the hood which has now two air intakes, compared to the single intake in the stock version.


The new body also adds five more inches on both sides, making it appear wider. From the rear, the car’s visuals have been completely altered. The discreet original bumper has been upgraded to a wider version, gaining an aggressive look.

The two exhaust pipes have had their position changed from the left side to the center under the bumper.


Galpin changed the interior as well. The standard all black theme has been scrapped. It has been replaced with blue leather and metallic grey elements on the gauges, instruments, seats and gearbox handle.

Galpin’s version of the Ford GT manages to take a mild sports car and turn it into a supercar. With more than 1000 HP under the hood, the 2013 Galpin Ford GTR1 remains stable on the road. The model will not be mass produced and its availability has not been disclosed.
