The Leon Cup Racer Concept is based on the 5 door standard Leon. The major difference is the extra 15.71 inches added to the cars width. As you might expect the new front fa├žade incorporates an aerodynamic design allowing for optimum air flow.

The side view is dominated by imposing front fenders that include vents that release the heat generated by the 4 piston brake system. The Cup Racer sits on 18 inch racing wheels. In the rear, you will find a diffuser and a 2 phase spoiler extending from the roof.

The Concept is painted in a metallic matte grey accentuated by sharp orange trim visible from every angle.

Inside, the bucket seats are equipped with HANS head protection and are made of a “moisture control” leather. Of course there is a roll cage, which is standard on all racing vehicles.

The multifunctional steering wheel and a thin film transistor (TFT) monitor helps the driver navigate the track you are on quite effortlessly. The interior is simplistic in nature given the cars intended use.

Rumors have it that the DSG would carry a retail price of $92,000, while the Endurance at $124,500.

It has everything designed in a way that it is visually exciting whether physical or visceral. The headlights run vertically instead of horizontal, this leads your eye to look up naturally along the fender-crease.

Technology has helped in its design since only one projector is required for the compact-xenon unit. The grille leans forward slightly making the car appear as if it is in motion when stationary.

The design is also supported by automatically deploying hidden handles. This model has four outboard mounted-exhaust outlets with two outlets on each side.

It uses the Super-High Performance Brake system with the best set of brake-discs which are large and fitted as a standard including the 14.8-inch rear and 15-inch front.

Jaguar engineers have used aluminum for the body structure as it is rigid and light. Some parts use an aluminum alloy to achieve the expected goals of the car.

This has contributed to an overall weight of 3521 pounds concentrating much of this weight on the wheel base. This was achieved by minimizing the rear and front overhangs which also improves stability and agility.

Driver Friendly

It has an asymmetric cabin layout reflecting a sharp-focus on the driver. It allows maximum concentration on the driving experience by having an envelope-cockpit for him with all controls grouped logically, that allows you to handle the F Type quite naturally.

The view from above makes the Vulcano appear more aerodynamic than ground worthy. This beast looks like it is ready to take off from a runway. The Vulcano’s nose is pointed in the traditional supercar manner. The air intakes may remind you of Lamborghini, which is a compliment in itself.

The triangular design of the headlamps and curve of the fenders accentuates this cars flair. Viewed from the side, the first thing you may notice are the functional chrome heat extractors embedded in the front fenders. The thin side mirrors look like mini wings affording just enough of a view behind you as you pass everyone else.

The roofline may remind you of the Chevy’s Corvette Stingray. On the rear, you will find the unique design of the L-shaped taillights for which there is no comparison to anything on the road today.

Another unique element is its linear v-shaped rear window. The integrated trapezoidal tailpipe is sure to hum when this car makes its first move.

The Icona Vulcano have 2 seats with an extended dash and a racing style steering wheel. The wraparound instrumentation is best described as something out of “Star Wars”.

The seats are reminiscent of those found in today’s race cars that go with its two tone trim, matching the steering wheel and door panels.
