Engine & Performance

The mid-mounted, high-revving 5.2-liter V10 engine of the R8 LMX produces 570 horsepower and 398 lbs-feet of torque.

This all-new coupe goes from 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds. The top speed has been clocked at 199 mph. Combined fuel consumption is at 18 mpg (12.9 liters /100 km).

The seven-speed S tronic transmission transfers the power and excitement onto this all-wheel drive vehicle.

One of the most distinctive aspects that stand out in the 2015 R8 LMX is the carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP), featuring a matte finish, incorporated with the one-on-one side blades, the diffuser and rear wing, the cover of the engine compartment, the front spoiler lip and the flicks on the sides.

The visual impact of R8 LMX is enhanced by the exclusive Audi paint finish known as Ara Blue, it promotes a crystal effect. Titanium gray finishes are used on the outlet grille at the rear and the Single frame grille.

Each laser module includes four laser diodes with a diameter of 300 micrometers, which generate a blue laser beam with a 450-nanometer wavelength. The range of the laser-generated cone of light is twice the range of all-LED headlights.

The black interior is elegantly complemented with posh blue accents showcased in the Sepang Blue stitching and Ara Blue backrests covers. The inlays in the doors, the covers of the parking brake lever and the center tunnel console incorporate matte carbon.

Black Fine Nappa leather featuring Sepang Blue diamond pattern adorns the folding bucket seats, the door trim panels as well as the knee pads and the selector lever for the S tronic.

Illuminated aluminum inlays with the limited-edition number are incorporated into the carbon sill trims. The headlining is finished in black Alcantara.

2015 Ford Mustang GT

The new 2015 Ford Mustang GT signals the beginning of a new chapter for this iconic line of cars. It is packed with new technology and, of course, world-class performance levels.

It is unveiled simultaneously worldwide, over four continents, in six different cities, ensuring that this will be one of the biggest car reveals of the year.

General Info
Vehicle Type: Coupe Base Price: $31,210.00
Fuel Tank Capacity: 16 gals (61L) MPG: 15 city / 26 hwy
Length:188.5 in. (478.8 cm) Wheel Base:107.1 in. (272 cm)
Height:55.8 in. (141.7 cm) Width:73.9 in. (187.7 cm)
Curb Weight:3618 lbs (1641 kg) Ground Clearance:NA
Luggage Capacity: 13.4 cu ft Maximum Seating: 4 people
Engine:V8 Ti-VCT DOHC Displacement:5.0 Liter
Horsepower:420 HP Max RPM:6500 RPM
Torque:390 lb-ft @ 4250 rpm Transmission:6-Speed Manual

The all-new Ford Mustang GT would not be complete without an exceptionally powerful engine, and Ford has not disappointed.

The V8 engine is 5.0-liter that delivers over 420 horsepower (426 PS), with 390 lb-ft (529 NM) torque, with an upgraded valve-train.

The upgraded manifold improves breathing at lower speeds, giving improved economy, a lower emission rate, and better stability while idle.

Shifting will prove to be a smoother experience as well, with the manual gear-box being upgrade, and the auto-transmission now has shift paddles that are mounted on the steering wheel, giving more choice between control and convenience to the driver.

The somewhat radically changed design has been carefully crafted, and Ford hopes that it still keeps the key elements that Mustang fans have loved for so many years.

These elements include the long hood and short deck at the rear that have been executed with a contemporary style in mind.

Key Design Changes

Here are some of the main design changes that make the all-new Mustang unique:

  • The roof has been lowered, and the back fenders are wider, giving the car a wider and lower stance.
  • Mustang has brought back the fastback, with a more streamlined profile; this has been done by sloping the rear glass and wind-shield more steeply.
  • The car has sequential turning signals, and three-dimensional tail-lamps that are tri-bar.
  • That signature "shark-bite" fascia at the front has been elegantly sculpted, along with a trapezoid-grille, to give a more modern appearance.

2014 Lincoln MKX Concept

The 2014 Lincoln MKX Concept was unveiled at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show earlier this year.

The company intends for the car to be part of a new range of Lincolns to be produced over the next two years.

This marks a shift in emphasis by Lincoln and a concerted effort to capture global SUV markets, including in parts of the world where the brand has not previously been active.
Engine & Performance

Lincoln has not released information about the Concept's engine options. Many industry experts expect production versions to boast an EcoBoost engine, however. All-wheel drive is also considered to be highly likely.

Power output is likely to be sufficient for highly responsive performance, but details remain unknown.

The MKX Concept is intended to be a sporty SUV, and as such it sports 21-inch aluminum alloy wheels for better handling.

Most of the talk since the unveiling has been about the car's appearance. The most obvious features are the very large turn signals, which not only run right around the headlights but also extend as far as the car's side mirrors.

A good deal of care has been taken with the car's lighting, with plenty of strong accents and a focus on the use of high power LED illumination. The vehicle's rear profile has been designed to be somewhat imposing, with a gentler look to the "waistline" of the car that runs beneath the side windows.

There is also a lowered roof toward the rear to give the MKX a better aerodynamic profile.

The windows of the MKX Concept are made of panoramic glass, allowing for the maximum possible amount of light into the interior. Meanwhile, a rear spoiler and integrated roof racks add to the overall impression of an integrated whole.

Inside, the Lincoln Experiences program will allow owners to tailor their vehicles to their precise needs. Options available will range from the type of entertainment system to cabin trim levels.

Other features

The MKX Concept has been designed for a more global market; this is the first Lincoln to have received a show debut outside the United States. The company has stated that inspiration for the car's striking design was obtained from a variety of vehicles, including motorcycles and even airplanes.

Although this is a concept car, Lincoln has hinted that many styling cues may survive into production.

2014 Citroen C-XR Concept

Given the amount of time Citroen has invested in the Chinese market, it was only a matter of time before this French automaker expanded its market in the country.

This came to pass with the debut of the 2014 Citroen C-XR Concept at the recent Beijing Auto Show. The C-XR concept is a contemporary take on the SUV. The car features noticeable compact styling combined with an assertive SUV look that is blended with elegance.
Engine & Performance

Under the hood, C-XR is powered by a 1.6 liter THP engine. According to Citroen, the engine uses the latest-generation automatic gearbox.

This boosts the driving pleasure and comfort while still reducing fuel consumption. The weight of this vehicle is drastically reduced.

This reduction reflects the top-quality road approach to produce an SUV that reduces CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

The wide, chromed front grille is a nice touch. The headlights are aggressively detailed that serves as a nice complement to the sharp front bumper with integrated LED daytime lights, giving the front section of the C-XR a sporty look.

The most noticeable elements of the rear include the 3D–effect taillights and dual chrome exhaust pipes. This "cross-over" has a high beltline that gives it a muscular appearance.

It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with all-seasons tires. The vehicle has a length of 167.7 inches and a wheelbase of 104.33 inches. Red side décor & wing-mirror housings underline the vehicles dynamic qualities and outdoor sprint.

The long wheelbase translates to more space. Drivers are able to enjoy excellent visual comfort . This is due to the saloon-style driving position together with raised ground clearance which provides a great view of the entire road.

Occupants can enjoy great travelling comfort, a result of the long wheelbase, and a huge glass panoramic roof, which fills the interior with soft, filtered light.
