The 2015 Lincoln MKC is a luxury crossover that comes in an elegant, sport design, offering a range of luxury and high-tech features.
It is the second new luxury vehicle since after the 2012 MKZ from Lincoln, the MKC is being released as part of the company’s plans to introduce four new luxury vehicles by 2016. This will be the first Lincoln vehicle to come with built-in connectivity that enables the driver to control the vehicle using a Smartphone app.

Engine & Performance
The Lincoln MKC showcases the all-new 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine, with an estimated 275 horsepower at 5500 rpm, and 300 lb ft of torque at 3000 rpm. The standard MKC comes powered by a 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine, with 240 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 270 lb ft of torque at 3000 rpm.
The vehicle’s active grille shutters help boost fuel efficiency on the highway. The base MKC is front-wheel drive with 18-inch wheels, with the option of upgrading to All-Wheel drive that come with 19-inch wheels.
Exterior
In the MKC, Lincoln combines athleticism with luxury in an elegant design that is synonymous with the Lincoln brand. It has a smooth, well sculpted exterior with low shoulders, Lincoln’s signature split-wing grille, a high beltline, and a unique wraparound lift gate.
The exterior has sophisticated features, that include pedestal side-view mirrors, soft exterior lighting and an optional panoramic Vista Roof. MKC’s exclusive Approach Detection feature is alerted when the driver approaches and projects illuminated “welcome mats” on the ground beside the front door, with the car’s exterior lights turning on to lead the way in.
Interior
The inside boasts a unique design that incorporates high tech features within a luxurious setting. The immaculate leather interior with French stitching offers elegance and comfort, with the option of “Bridge of Weir” leather and real wood trim. The MKC will debut the brand new Lincoln steering wheel which provides better control and feel.
The 2015 Lincoln MKC comes with an impressive THX II audio system that provides a high quality surround sound experience, and optional upgrades that are available. The 8-inch touch screen SYNC with MyLincoln Touch can be activated by voice commands or touch, with the use of buttons at the center console for easy access.
