Pagani Zonda Cinque

Pagani’s latest version of the Zonda, named the Cinque, is a street legal version of the race-only Zonda R and it will price at $1,240,000. Power comes from the same 7.3-liter V12, although it has been detuned to 678 horsepower, down from Zonda R’s 750. The Cinque will also feature a full carbon fiber body, massive Brembo brakes, a six-speed sequential gearbox, and Pirelli PZero tires. Production will be limited to a mere five units, all of which have been spoken for. It is capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 3.4 secs and reaching a top speed of over 217. Value for this car will likely double in 10 years because only a few will be made.

Pagani Zonda Cinque

(from Pagani Press Release) The Pagani is not just a supercar manufacturer but rather a place where artistic objects take form following the renowned car tradition of Modena and the Renaissance concepts of art and science combined together by Leonardo Da Vinci over 500 years ago. In Pagani the carbon fiber is the specific know how and a perfect combination of technology and beauty. No compromises are accepted in the use of innovative materials, always the state of art, to express the passion and skill of who designed and built them.

Back in 1999, launch year of the first Zonda, the Pagani has been focusing its strategies on the research of light weight. The chassis, completely made of composite and other light and innovative materials, contained the weight to 1250 kilos, when all the other cars of the same segment would weight from 30 to 50% more. Despite of the light weight, the Zonda offered excellent comfort and safety standards. By chance, the impact on environment, as for example the fuel consumption, proved to be considerably lower than the traditional supercars and coupes of the same range, with weight from 1.800 kilos to 2.200 kilos.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

With the new 2008 Gallardo LP560-4, Lamborghini once again sets a very high standard for super sports cars. The heart of the Gallardo LP560-4 is the new 5.2 liter V10 engine with an output of 560 PS (412 kW) at 8000 rpm. The increase of 40 PS compared with that of the previous Gallardo, and the approximate 20 kilogram reduction in weight, improves the power weight ratio to 2.5 kilograms per PS (hp) and thus enhances performance. The LP560-4 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, its speed at 11.8 seconds is 200 km/h and its top speed is 325 km/h.

The Gallardo has improved traction, controlling and stability at high speeds. The redesigned four-wheel drive transmission, the new suspension and the optimized aerodynamics as well as the reduced weight and decreased friction between the components, all contribute to the overall improvements in the vehicle. The car is also surprisingly suited to long-distance driving and despite its extreme performance capabilities is very easy to control while maintaining maximum stability.

The newly designed front of the LP 560-4 squats deeply to the ground which adds to its aerodynamic efficiency. The larger and clearly improved cooling intakes meet the demands of augmented engine power thus increasing the air circulation vital to a vehicle as powerful as this. The spoiler, positioned low between the air intakes, improves aerodynamic equilibrium at high speeds. The rear lights, air cooling vents, bumper and diffuser are arranged in precise positions on the car’s exterior, which make the LP560-4 appear extremely wide and bonded to the road surface. In addition, the streamlined covers left and right of the engine hood accentuate the powerful shoulders and lengthened, stretched lines of the new Gallardo.

Used Ford E-Series Van

Ford E-Series VanThe Ford E-Series Van holds the distinction of being America’s best seller in the field of full-sized (which means it can hold both passenger and cargo) vans for the past 28 years. Since its debut in 1961, it has undergone changes with its name, having been known before as the Econoline (still somewhat used now) and the Club Wagon. All Ford E-Series vans are produced only in the Ford Ohio plant in Avon Lake.

The E-Series line has undergone major changes throughout the years, whether in its engine, chassis, or exterior design. For the 2009 model, modifications such as a navigation system and switches in the upfitter area were made in the dashboard, while the glove compartment of the van was relocated from its engine cover-integrated design to the from of the passenger. A safety feature available with the Ford E-Series Van that is not readily available even for regular-sized cars is a backup camera in the van’s rear view.

Used Ford Excursion

Ford ExcursionThe Ford Excursion enjoyed its reign as Ford Motor’s largest SUV for five years – from 2000 to 2005. As a large (with a gross weight over 3,900 kilograms), yet sleekly designed heavy-duty vehicle, the Ford Excursion was marketed as direct competition against smaller SUVs like the Suburban model by Chevrolet, which did not enjoy the Excursion’s exemption from CAFE and USEPA regulations. The CAFE, or Corporate Average Fuel Economy regulates the fuel economy of SUVs, which the Ford Excursion was exempted to because it was classified as a both usable for rural and commercial purposes, not just as a sport utility vehicle.

The Ford Excursion model was discontinued in 2005 to make way for a new version of the Expedition, which has extended its length. Ford’s Louisville plant in Kentucky produced the last Ford Excursion in September 2005. The last of the Excursion unites were sold in Mexico as models for the year 2006.
