The extensive aerodynamic kit with diffuser, the sporty end mufflers for an even stronger sound, agile road-handling through sport suspension and the split-rim light-alloy wheels “Edition Race” in 20 and 21 inch, are only a few of the features that make the new HAMANN Ferrari 612 Scaglietti the perfect car for the gentelman driver that has also high sporting ambitions.
The engineers form Hamann have made a few modifications and at the top of the list there has been a modification of the body, although the Gran Turismo is already a noble vehicle when considering the standard equipment.The sound details and the handling has been kept on the list of modifications also.All modifications in form and function have been made to insure perfect symbiosis and harmony. The front spoiler is coming from Laupheim and it provides optimal downforce on the front axle. The pair of side sill for the flank gives the appearance of lower suspension.Very good downforce is ensured by the rear spoiler and it also gives the sportier look without any disturbance in the basic design. Also downforce is improved by the new rear end component with integrated diffuser.As usual, Hamann gives the possibility to the customer to choose if the aerodynamic components will be made from fibreglass or carbon Kevlar.The already known “Edition Race”-Hamann self designed will be available when talking about wheels. Nine main spokes which each branch out to form two more characterise this system a three part, ultra light forged rim with cross spoke design. Here are the tire combinations offered by Hamann: front 9.0 J x 20″ / rear 12.5 J x 20″ – 245/35 ZR 20 / 335/30 ZR20 and front 9.0 J x 21″ / rear 12.0 J x 21″ – 245/30 ZR 21 / 345/25 ZR21.The center of gravity is lowered with the help of a chassis spring assembly, which is very important when it comes to better handling.Sound is also improved as we have said before: customers can order the sport mufflers made from V2A stainless steel, with double exhaust pipes -90mm- which makes the 540 HP symphony sound twice better and stronger as before.When ordering, customers have the possibility to modify the 612 Scaglietti to their own individual taste: they can choose from the many different colours of leather fittings or different multimedia configurations (DVD player, TV or PlayStation.)

Infinity G37

After the great success that the G35 coupe has had in the past, Infinity launches a new sport coupe G37. Since 2003, when it arrived, the model G coupe has had annual sales of almost 26 000, number that accounts for nearly 40 percent of all G sales. Taking into account the fact the numbers reached in 2006 over 20000 (more than BMW did 3 Series Coupes- slightly under 15000), no one can say now that coupes are dead.It would be only natural that after such a huge success Infinity would bring to front a fresh two door of its own, especially if they want to keep BMW tense a little after they have just released the twin-turbocharged, 300-horsepower E92 335i coupe.The G-Coupe interior has been remodeled, the chassis has been tweaked and the styling has been brought to a higher level. 37 more horsepower has been added to the new V6. So the new G37 will be propelled by the new .7 liter VQ series V6 with 330 horses and 270 pound-feet of torque. The VQ will definitely be found into other Infinity products like the FX sport, M and G sedans or maybe the next Nissan Z or the upcoming Skyline GT-R. The VVEL is highly appreciated by Infinity due to a few qualities like: it provides more power and torque throughout the power band, also improves fuel economy as well as reduces emissions. At a first look, the new coupe seems to be almost like the old one, but further and more attentive examination reveals important fine lines: every body panel is new, fresh design cues are incorporated including a wave hood, a double-arch grille, L-shaped headlamps, and an integrated rear spoiler. When comparing dimensions, we can say that the G 37 has grown only 0.9 inches in length and 0.2 inches in width and it has shrinked by 0.1 inch in height. Wheelbase is still 112.2 inches, and front, rear tracks are widening by 0.5 and 0.9 inch, respectively.

Brabus Widestar 2007

A higher horse powered, better handling and wider version of AMG tuned M-class has been created by BRABUS.This special model, WIDESTAR BRABUS, based on the Mercedes ML63 has made it’s debut at the Geneva Show 2007. Dynamic looks combined with maximum functionality are the main features that characterise the BRABUS WIDESTAR concept.

The BRABUS WIDESTAR body conversion consists of add-on parts for the doors, and rocker panels that create a more homogenous transition between the fender flares. But that’s not all:Complete front and rear fascias replace their production counterparts front and back. The front spoiler bumper with three striking air inlets and four integrated auxiliary headlights lends the M-Class more passing clout and minimises lift on the front axle. In combination with the rear spoiler the rear fascia with integrated diffuser and cut-outs for the four chrome tailpipes of the BRABUS stainless-steel sport exhaust system provides the perfect aerodynamic balance.The production V8 engine delivers 510 hp / 375 kW. It is fitted with sport air filters and high-performance metal catalysts as well as newly programmed engine electronics with custom mapping for ignition and injection. Together these measures result in an increase in power output by 40 hp / 31 kW to 550 hp / 404.8 kW. Simultaneously peak torque grows from 630 Nm to 650 Nm. Vehicle performance benefits accordingly: The sprint from rest to 100 km/h is shortened to 4.9 seconds. The engine tuning and installation of the BRABUS V/max unit increase the top speed from 250 km/h to 275 km/h.Safety has also been improved through a high-performance brake system. It features 12-piston aluminium fixed callipers and vented and cross-drilled 380 x 36 millimetre discs on the front axle.And if all the above mentioned characteristics are not enough to convince you of the amazing attributes of the sporty, dynamic, exclusive and powerful BRABUS WIDESTAR, we can go on with describing the exclusive interior options, one of the specialities of Mercedes M-Class:
