Performance

The S80 features an all improved suspension for the driver’s comfort. At the same time the car has been lowered by a few centimeters, while downforce has increased, making it stable at high speeds and tight cornering.

Exterior

The new generation of S80 models will feature a brand new front and rear bumper that have been stretched to create a visual effect that makes the car seem wide and lower.

Looking at the front of the nose, it has been changed to incorporate more fluid lines while the headlights have been changed with rectangular ones. Volvo designed the car to fit 19 inch wheels which is a new feature to the series.

Interior

Looking at the S80 from the inside, the visual aspect experienced some changes. The seats are covered in leather while the gearshift handle has been covered with chrome elements.

On the driver’s side, the manufacturers went for digital gauges, right behind the chromed driving wheel. Chrome elements can be seen throughout the entire interior of the car.

Engine

Volvo designed only two engine choices in varying power outputs. It starts with a 1.6 liter D2 diesel engine that brings 115 horsepower, adding to the diesel line is the D4 which brings on 177 horsepower.

The 1984 cc petrol engine, the T4 is capable of providing180 HP. The T5 is an AWD 2.5 liter, 5 cylinder engine that gives you 245 horsepower and features a six-speed automatic gearbox and a six-speed manual or Powershift transmission for the T4.

Performance

The T5 version of the car comes with an all-wheel Hill Descent Control and a Hill Hold function that makes it possible to easily start the car while inclined.

Volvo worked on the exterior of the vehicle adding a larger honeycomb mesh grill and an edge to edge air vent which gives the impression that the car is wider. At the same time it creates a contrast with the color of the car.

The manufacturer choose to fit 19 inch rims and reduced the size of the headlights, making it look more like an off-road car rather than a station wagon.

Interior

Ergonomic placement of instruments and controls can be noticed throughout. The gauges have been integrated to take less space while the driving wheel has been filled with controls for easier access.

The Elmiraj Concept is powered by a twin-turbo, 4.5 liter, V8. It is capable of 500 horsepower and 500 lb ft of torque. Most likely, it will be paired with an 8 speed automatic transmission, this car is expected to go from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 168 mph.

Exterior

The Elmiraj is a two door, luxury sports coupe. Its overall length is at 205 inches. Those 17 feet appear to flow seamlessly from front to back with a low profile (55 inch height) more akin to a luxurious low rider if such a car existed.

The new Cadillac emblem rests on the center of the black mesh grille surrounded by chrome shaped in an almost clown like grin. The slim vertical LED headlights give it a very futuristic flair.

The aluminum wheels are at 22 X 9 inches. The rear flows as nicely as the cars lines, with the trunk lid and bumpers connecting to the flowing rear glass and rising lower belt line. The taillights match the headlights with their thin vertical orientation and are separated with a chrome accent strip. Rear exhaust outlets appear on each corner.

Interior

When entering the 2013 Cadillac Elmiraj Concept you will notice the two doors are pillar-less and the windows frameless. Once inside, you will be sitting low to the ground on beautifully appointed saddle leather seats.

The dash and center console areas seem to tilt towards the front, once again reintegrating that flow effect even while inside the vehicle. Look up to see the wood panel headliner.

The base supercar comes with a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine under its hood. This produces 616 horsepower at 7,500 rpm with a peak torque of 443 lb-ft at 3,000 and 7,000 rpm. The memoR goes from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds, and is capable of reaching a top speed of 205 mph.

Exterior

Basically, this car presents itself as a dynamic mid-engine sports car. It uses the existing lines of the car’s carbon chassis and supplements it with other body design elements.

The style has been borrowed from the 1995 winner at LeMans, the McLaren F1, transforming the front end with additional air outlets, a mudguard and an expressive front apron.

LED daytime running lights and a carbon front spoiler have been integrated into the front of this car. The brand new attachments for side aprons and doors form an aerodynamic and visual link between the car’s axles.

The large air inlet on the car’s flanks and the carbon bonnet clearly exhibits this car’s design.

Because of the extensive use of carbon fiber, the MP4-12c memoR is lightweight. Included are ultra-light aluminum wheels with center-lock tires.
