2011 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S

When somebody says Aston Martin, the 1st thing that comes to mind is James Bond. It’s because Aston Martin is what he usually uses in his movies. This year, James Bond has another toy. It’s the all new Aston Martin V8 Vantage S. This convertible sports car has a 4.8 liter V8 engine and 430 horses in a 7300 RPM.

Aston’s new Sportshift II has a 7 sport shift transmission of dual-clutch engagement, shifted by paddles on the steering wheel. The transmission provides 20 percent quicker shifts than the six-speed Sportshift. Top speed is projected at 190 mph. A derived floating disc front brake system complete with large discs and new six-piston calipers ensure immense stopping power.

Exterior modifications include a revised front bumper finished in carbon fiber, a larger front air intake, side sills, and a choice of 19-inch V-spoke wheels or optional 10-spoke forged wheels. When it comes to the rear, its tailgate is fashioned in a more distinct ‘flip’ and with its carbon fiber diffuser; it extracts air from beneath the car.

This Vantage is available in either the coupe and or the roadster. With its sensational performance, ride and handling characteristics, the new V8 Vantage S is the benchmark sports car.

2011 Wheelsandmore Ferrari 458 Italia

When you think about power being added to an already powerful car, think about the 2011 WheelsandMore Ferrari 458 Italia. The Ferrari 458 Italia now has an upgrade package made by the German luxury car refining company, WheelsandMore. With this upgrade, the Ferrari 458 Italia’s horsepower goes up from the standard 570 hp to 620 hp with an additional 100 lb of torque. With this amount of additional power, the 458 Italia can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.32 seconds.

The extra power and high performance is derived mainly from weight optimization and an improved handmade exhaust system with valve flaps and manifolds. The full system has thermal heat protection covers. The system is adapted to an upgraded ecu that optimizes flow resulting to that tremendous extra power.

The upgrade package also includes weight optimized 21” forged multi-piece wheels. The front wheels come in 9.0×21 and the rear at 12.5×21 inches with Hankook high performance rubbers. All the high quality wheels are hand crafted in Germany and can be individualized at the customer’s request. Individualization of the wheels has nearly unlimited options from color, surface combinations and personalized design apps that are mounted on the spoke openings.

2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe

The newest addition to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class series is the C-Class Coupe. This classy sports coupe combines fun, comfort and driving efficiency for a target market of professionals aged between 35 and 45.

The Coupe still shares the distinguishable styling of the C-Class and adds features of its own. The long bonnet, steep windscreen, stretched out roof and short tail end gives it the powerful and sporty look.

Even with its sporty features, the C-Class coupe is still a comfortable four-seater with a high quality interior finish. Customers of the C-Class have interior color options of brown ash burl, black piano-lacquer or nougatine burr walnut wood.

2011 Lumma Design Porsche Cayenne CLR 558 GT

The standard Porsche Cayenne gets an upgrade with the Lumma CLR 558 GT. Boasting improved power, the Lumma CLR 558 GT 6 cylinder diesel engine has 276 hp which is higher than the standard Cayenne’s 240 hp. Maximum torque is 630 nm while the standard Cayenne’s is 550 nm.

Complementing the improved power is the newly improved body kit that includes side skirts, rear bumper, front and rear spoilers and a sporty looking bonnet. The car’s interior has also been improved with the new two-tone beige and black leather upholstery. The sports steering wheel is ergonomically designed and also includes an airbag for improved safety.

Driving on winding country roads is made easier and safer with the car’s electronic suspension lowering module. The car is lowered by 40 mm on both axles for improved handling.
Even the exhaust system has been improved. The Lumma CLR 558 GT’s three tailpipes make a thunderous sound and give the car a sportier rear look. The middle tailpipe is 100 mm in diameter while the other two are 80 mm in diameter.

2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

Scheduled for launch early 2012 is the newest addition to Chevrolet’s high performance Camaro series, the 2012 Camaro ZL1. Not only will the ZL1 be the fastest Camaro offered by Chevrolet, it will also be the most technologically advanced. Some of the new technologies incorporated in the new Camaro are electric power steering and magnetic ride control. The ZL1 was definitely built around the concept of enhanced performance.

High performance driving is what the ZL1 is all about. The LSA 6.2L V8 supercharged engine packs an estimated 550 horsepower for optimal performance on and off the track. The power of the ZL1 is matched with a highly developed chassis and the world’s fastest reacting suspension system. The ZL1’s updated body kit makes it stand apart from its Camaro predecessors. Its aerodynamic design increases down force for better handling.

All of the colors are available from previous models of the Camaro are available for the ZL1, but the interior only comes in black. Advanced technology is also evident in the instruments used. The ZL1 will come with a rear camera system with the display incorporated in the rear view mirror.

Chevrolet are still performing tests and further the improvements on the ZL1 and will release the official estimates of the cars capabilities in the later part of 2011.
