The 2014 Volvo V60 R-Design comes with a combination of improved sport elements, increased performance and added attention to detail when compared with the previous generation.
Despite being a car fit for the family, it also has multiple sport car features without making compromises on safety and comfort. Several key design upgrades have been redone to give it an almost completely new look.

Engine
Volvo offers several engine options for the V60 R Design. The most powerful is the 3.0 liter T6 cylinder engine. Adding the turbo option will ensure a total output of 329 HP and a torque of 326 lb ft.
Transmission is handled by a pedal shifter with an automatic gearbox which improves acceleration in all models, making it possible to go from 0 to 60 MPH in 6.2 seconds.
Performance
The new V60 comes equipped with Corner Traction Control for smoother cornering. Engine Drag Control will ensure that the car has solid road grip even on slippery surfaces while the DSTC system will give the option to turn off the anti-spin feature.
All these additions give the car superior road stability, better steering in difficult conditions and an overall improved driving experience.
Exterior
One of the major changes is the front of the car that now has a redesigned face with a new black grill with glossy elements and the standard diagonal chrome bar with the Volvo logo.
The rear features a new diffuser with aero fins with the tailpipes on the side.
Interior
All the R-Design versions have sport seats with perforated leather. The gauges and indicators are digital, featuring multiple chromatic themes. From a space and comfort perspective, Volvo made no compromises. The interior has high quality finishing complemented by more than enough space for a car with sport features.
