N Yet again the BMW group amazes us with a new superb model, only now, in partnership with AC Schnitzer. The new AC Schnitzer S3 Cabrio, an upgrade to BMW 3 Series Cabrio is a 5 stars Convertible. The new bodykit was realized by the AC Schnitzer designers. They said that the design should have a more natural form. And if we take a look at the AC Schnitzer S3 Cabrio, we can say that their mission succeeded. The rear view of the Convertible is the classic 3-Series, but the side and the front skirts reflect the special AC Schnitzer design. The bodykit creates an aerodynamic car illusion and enhances the sporting design. The interior of the car is equipped with many high quality accessories. Some of these accessories that deserves to be mentioned are the AC Schnitzer Speedometer, where the maximum value that is shown is 300 km/h, the carbon steering wheel trim in silver Exclusive and the aluminum pedals. All these combined create an exquisite athmosphere. The car is equipped with AC Schnitzer racing rims. The rear rims are 10″ and the front ones are 9″, the suspension system is based also on racing technology, therefore almost transforming this model into a racing car. AC Schnitzer S3 Cabrio has a diesel engine that provides 265 HP. Originally it was a standard 231 HP diesel engine , but AC Schnitzer developed a power pack so now the engine provides 265 HP. Another engine for this Cabrio is in developing, that will provide 306 HP. For that one we will have to wait , won’t we ?

The Z9 Gran Turismo concept car has been revealed in 1999, at the Frankfurt Auto Show. It will be making now an entrance on North American Market, with the presentation debut at the New York International Auto Show.
The interior has all the new technology and a very ergonomic design.
The Z9 BMW will be a 2 seated roadster, having a textile roof and probably with an option for hardtop.
There are many control functions that can be controlled very easily from the multifunction Knob located between the front seats.
The doors can be opened by 2 ways: conventionally and in gull wing style.Also, in the centre of the dashboard there is placed an 8.8 inch monitor which gives the driver all the information needed while driving.

The car is propelled by the V-8 turbo diesel, which has been produced for the first time for the BMW 7 Series 740d model. It produces 413 lbs./ft (560 Nm) of torque, maintained constantly at 1750 and 2500 rpm and it has a maximum power of 245 hp.
The engineers from BMW have designed the supersports car with the engine mounted in the front side and the traction transmitted to the back wheels.
Sources from BMW declared that they expect sales of approximately 15000 pcs per year, which means almost 3 times more than its pre-decessor Z8 (a little over 5700 units per year)
The Z9 will be certainly able to compete with cars like Mercedes SL or Audi R8.
As price horizon, a future series Z9 can reach approximately 100 000 Euro.

The driver can also create personalised settings, as the also the compression and rebound stages of the shock absorbers, front-axle track and camber, and rear-axle track are all adjustable.For the threaded sports suspension there has been chosen a special combination between the wheel and tire -Pirelli P Zero Corsa sports tires in size 265/30 R 19 (front) and 285/30 R 19 (rear) +AMG aluminium wheels in size 9.00 x 19 and 9.50 x 19.Also the car has high performance brake system, which uses larger front composite disks (360 x 36 mm) which has been tested to the maximum on the racetrack.All the fine qualities from Mercedes Benz everyday practicality, longevity, safety and quality characterise the new CLK 63 AMG Black Series.

The production series is unlimited and customers will benefit from this amazing car starting from June.

This super car’s name wants us to remember the sparkling mind of a Ferrari coach builder, Sergio Scaglietti. He created some of the most fabulous cars for Ferrari manufacturer in the 1950’s and 1960’s.
