2012 Rolls-Royce Jonckheere Aerodynamic Coupe II by Ugur Sahin Design

Rolls-Royce is always associated with luxury and high class vehicle designs. The 2012 Rolls-Royce Jonckheere Aerodynamic Coupe II by Ugur Sahin Design, a Dutch design company, aims to resurrect an old concept.

Even if there are no plans for future production of the concept design, Ugur Sahin Design plans to find investors to build one. The original manufacturer of the 77 year old design ordered this re-mastered version as a tribute to the 1935 model.

Engine

Ugur Sahin focused mainly on the exterior look of the car. No details are known about what will be under the hood. However, the size of the car makes easy to guess that a large engine will be required to sustain such a heavy vehicle.

Exterior

Curved lines are apparent throughout the car. The rear preserves the original bold lines while the front hosts the headlights that drop into the fenders. At the same time, the rear fins have been downsized.

Right at the center of the front, the Rolls-Royce frontal grill has been increased giving it the classic look of a 70 year old car.

Interior

It is difficult to anticipate how technology will evolve in the future and what materials will be used. Since the car is still in its conceptual stage and no investor has been announced, the interior details of the Coupe are unknown. The Dutch design company is yet to release details of how the inside of this concept will look like.

The 2012 Rolls-Royce Jonckheere Aerodynamic Coupe II by Ugur Sahin Design will be a one-of-a-kind car. Based on a 1935 model by Jonckheere Works, the concept showcases an adaptation a classic car that was never build to the current design trends.

Even if the project receives the funding it needs, Rolls-Royce has not expressed any kind of intentions to take it to mass production. The concept will remain a collectable for any potential investor.
