2014 Mini John Cooper Works Concept

The 2014 Mini John Cooper Works Concept is the hottest new version of a once-tiny car. The Works Concept recently rolled onto the NAIAS Auto show in Detroit.

Basically, this concept is a preview of the next line of JWC variants. The John Cooper’s have been in the market since BMW re-launched the Mini in the early 2000s. This concept will be the largest John Cooper works yet; it’s a bit wider and the 3rd gen Mini has also grown by about 4.5 inches in length.2014-Mini-John-Cooper-Works-Concept-old-school-A

Exterior

One of the most noticeable parts of this car is the front sprinter; its modular design includes 3 blocky air-intakes that dominate the car’s style. The color is exclusive to this Concept and is known as the Bright Highways Grey.

In addition to the huge front air intakes, this car has LED headlights together with black surround on the front grille. An aerodynamic package comes with side skirts and a rear bumper with a diffuser and air outlets.

The car rides on handsomely chunky set of 18-inch 5-spoke wheels.

Interior

The wheelbase has been stretched with rear doors added. A thrilling driving experience awaits the driver; the car will have the latest in technology and other great features.

Cargo room is expected to increase in the 4-door model, specially once the rear seats are folded down.

The amount of interior space should be close to that of the Mini Clubman. Despite its size, Mini has promised that the interior features will give the driver a fun, comfortable driving experience.
