Engine & Performance
It is powered by a new version of Kia’s 1.6 liter GDI (gasoline direct injection) engine which is equipped with strengthened internal components and a twin scroll turbocharger. It produces 201 horsepower with 195 lb ft of torque.
It is fitted with a standard six speed manual gear box and the front wheel model accelerates to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds. It has a top speed of 143 mph.
The Ceed GT is fine tuned for European roads. Subsequent developments on the vehicle’s suspension system have ensured high performance on the road. The engine has been fine tuned to ensure that the car provides a smooth ride.
Exterior
The Kia Ceed GT features deeper bumpers, new fog lights, larger 18 inch wheels of alloy, dual exhaust pipes, jewel-like LED daytime running lights, lamp clusters and eye catching red brake calipers.
Interior
Inside, it has Recaro sports seats, bespoke surface materials, alloy pedals and a racing car inspired TFT instruments which create a performance oriented ambience for the passengers and driver.
The driver can customize the instrument cluster into either the analogue or GT mode.
The analogue mode has a traditional speedometer, the trip information, while in the GT mode shows the speed of the vehicle in digital numbers and gauges displayed in yellow. These figures are the turbo boost and engine toque.
