Exterior

Based on the sturdy all-aluminum architecture of the F-Type (winner of the World Car Design in 2013) this concept is “full of desire” according to Jaguar s Director of Design Ian Callum, who is also the winner of the Interior Designer of the Year 2013 award.

However, this two-seater, convertible boasts a unique, aerodynamic exterior that features an all-new carbon-fiber front splitter, carbon-fiber bonnet vents and carbon-fiber side louvers, wide rear diffuser, side skirts, revamped front bumper and air intakes. The headlights are enhanced with a glossy black finish (replacing chrome), a fixed rear diffuser, a lowered windshield.

A fairing section has been placed behind the head of the driver and incorporates a rollover hoop, thus eliminating the roof. In addition, this car features a free-flow exhaust system with an aesthetically appealing ceramic finish, carbon-fiber and aluminum wing mirrors, an innovative spring/damper tune and a ride height lower by 10 mm than the famous F-Type.

This new concept sits on Blade forged-alloy wheels (20 inches) that feature carbon-fiber inserts.

Interior

The eye-catching deep blue paintwork is a vivid reminder of the successful Jaguar D-Type manufactured between 1956 and 1957. The cockpit of this innovative concept vehicle is equally appealing in terms of aesthetics and high performance.

The interior design features a composite bucket seat for the driver, which has been lowered by 30 mm and secured by a strong racing harness, a custom trim as well as a unique helmet holder that replaces the passenger seat. This helmet holder carries a customized Project 7 blue-colored helmet to match the exterior and it is gripped by its own racing harness.

Both door panels and the seat are finished in a quilted diamond pattern. The carbon-fiber components are also present on the SportShift selector and the console, the steering wheel is equipped with aluminum paddles and the start-stop button is glossy black.
