After receiving a new name in 2014, Infiniti’s full-size QX80 luxury SUV has been restyled, refinished and repacked for 2015.

During the 2014 New York Auto Show, the all new 2015 Infiniti QX80 was revealed.

This new model is different; it has new front and rear fascias, new wheel designs, 3 new exterior colors and several interior refinements.

Engine & Performance

Infiniti QX80 is powered by a robust 5.6 liter V6 engine. It produces 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission and is available in either a rear or 4-wheel drive.

Braking is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking system and Electronic Brake force Distribution and Brake Assist.



Infiniti has cited the Q50 sedan as the inspiration for the front of this new SUV. It includes a redesigned upper grille and a lower grille opening. All the fog lights and headlights are LED.

The new front bumper incorporates sonar sensors for adaptive cruise control and also a forward collision-alert system. New wheels are available; 20- inch aluminum alloy as standard and 14 – spoke 22-inch forged aluminum alloy wheels as an option.

Other exterior features include tinted rear lamps, dark-finish headlight lenses and pool lighting just beneath brushed-finish running boards. Three new colors have been added to give it a total of 7 colors to choose from, the new colors are Majestic White, Hermosa Blue and Graphite Shadow.


On the inside, Infiniti has updated some of materials such as higher-quality leather on the higher-trim models and different silver and wood accents on door panels and center stack.

Other standard features include premium audio, a single in-dash CD/DVD player with MP3 playback, satellite Radio, USB connection, a sunroof, navigation, a new auto high and low beam feature and 2 revised option packages; deluxe technology and driver assistance.

A 15-speaker Bose surround sound system, adaptive front lighting, climate control, a Plasma cluster air purifier and grape poly-phenol filter are also available.
