HSV (Holden Special Vehicles), Australia’s leading car manufacturer has finally revealed the lineup of its fastest, most powerful performance car ever built.

The imminent production of the LSA powered 2014 HSV Gen-F GTS is the culmination of 4 years of design and development. This vehicle is expected to be launched in the country around August this year.

Engine

The 2014 Gen-F GTS vehicle is powered by 6.2 liter LSA supercharged V8 engine that is expected to deliver 548 lb-ft of torque and 576 horsepower. The power increase in this model is 32 percent compared to the existing GTS model.

This new powerhouse hero of HSV comes with big aluminum 6-piston front brakes along with front and rear two-piece rotors, and to keep the sedan in check, the HSV’s brake torque-vectoring rear differential will work on it.

Performance

The car is loaded with unique and interesting features that may draw the attention of car lovers around the world. The cooling system along with twin plate clutch with a 6 speed manual transmission are among the many unique features of the car.

This vehicle have 9.9 inch rear suspensions, cross pipes with a high flow system, MRC bi-modal mufflers, and catalytic converters with high flow exhaust.

Brakes

The brake system is unique with its increased brake pad size. Other interesting features such as electronic power steering, driver preferential dial, launch control, traction control, and torque vectoring altogether increase the quality quotient of this vehicle.

The 2014 HSV Gen-F GTS comes in four different versions; touring, track, performance and sport, each one differs in terms of performance and appearance from one another.
