Engine & Performance

The 2015 Focus ST is powered by a 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine. The engine delivers 252 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 270 lbs ft of torque at 2,500 rpm.

This engine is the same as that used in the previous model. The engine can only be rated to 6-speed manual transmission.

Just as expected, the Focus ST has gained a refreshed fascia that was introduced to other models earlier this year. At the front, new, longer, and narrower headlamps have replaced the previous design.

The revised grille has the same pattern (honeycomb) and an ‘ST’ badging. However, the new car carries a clean look and the 2 bumper extensions found in the previous model have been removed.

At the rear, the tailgates are smaller and actually feature a much different pattern. This revised hatch has a different roof-spoiler, while the bumper has received a bigger black insert. This new Focus comes with LED lighting and drives on 18-inch wheels.

The overall layout of the inside is similar to the previous model. However, there are a few changes, like the rearranged buttons & switches just below the car’s infotainment display.

The parking brake has been repositioned; it now sits next to the driver seat. There is a new steering wheel that features 3 spokes instead of 4 and individual buttons.

The USB charging port charges 2 times faster than that of previous model. When we turn to technology, the new car features Android & iOS connectivity, and a standard rear-view camera.
