Engine
The Viper Race Yellow runs on a 8.4 littler V10 engine, capable of generating 640 horsepower and a measured torque of 600 lb ft.
Its top speed limit has been clocked at 206 mph, while the tweaked acceleration takes the car from 0 to 60 mph in around 3 seconds.
Performance
Few details are available regarding its ride and handling. The improved aerodynamics and front grille gives the Viper an improved road grip while the adjustable suspensions allow the driver to choose between street and track use.
Car control has been enhanced with the addition of a new 4 channel ABS system.
Exterior
The front bumper of the Viper has been replaced with one suited for racing and improved aerodynamics featuring a larger grill. Other changes have been done for the rear of the car by removing the stock rear bumper and adding lighter ones.
The hood has also been changed and the entire car will be available in yellow with a pair of two black stripes going from the front and all the way to the back of the car.
Interior
No specific details were given about the changes done for the interior of the car. The only disclosed information is the upgrade of the stock parts with better materials.
The 2013 SRT Viper Race Yellow will be available as a limited edition model as part of a prelaunch of the old Dodge sports car.
The tweaks, weight reduction and improved interior make it not one of the fastest Viper models but also a viable choice for both street and race use.
