Chevrolet’s Suburban will turn 80 next year, and to celebrate, the company has unveiled its new breed.

The 2015 Chevrolet Suburban offers more functionality, greater refinement, advanced technology and additional new safety features.

The engine used is similar to those used in their Silverado line of trucks.

Engine & Performance

The 2015 Suburban comes with a 5.3 liter, small block V-8 engine. The engine is part of the Ecotec 3 engine family based on the 5th generation GM small-block engine. This engine gets the same direct injection, variable valve timing, and Active Fuel Management cylinder-deactivation featured in the Silverado.

You get a total output is 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to either the rear wheels or all 4 through a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior

The exterior design of the SUV is more refined and precisely sculpted. The lines are smooth and part of this smoothness is attributed to the SUV’s doors, which are inlaid into the body resulting in a better sealing and reduced noise levels. Chevy has reduced the Suburban’s mass by utilizing aluminum for the hood and lift gate.

Other features include projector-beam headlamps, high-intensity discharge headlamps and light-emitting diode daytime running lamps.

Interior

Inside the Suburban, premium materials and enhanced ergonomics demonstrate the car’s blend of sophistication, craftsmanship and function.

An instrument panel houses an 8 inch color touch screen radio with a secured storage bin behind the motorized screen. The compartmentalized center console is big enough to store an iPad and a laptop.

Safety

Chevrolet has incorporated new safety technologies such as a radar that contributes to 360 degrees of crash avoidance and occupant protection. The standard features include front park assist, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, lane change assist movement sensors, alarm systems and adaptive cruise control.

The Chevrolet’s Safety Alert Seat is also available and gives directional vibrations to alert the driver about potential crash threats.

After the successful launch of Les Legendes de Bugatti’ series in California, Bugatti just unveiled its 2nd vehicle in the 2013 Motor Show in Frankfurt.

This French luxury vehicle manufacturer intends to launch one of its most famous creations, the 2013 Bugatti Veyron Jean Bugatti in celebration of Jean Bugatti (the oldest son of the company’s founder).

The technology in found in the Bugatti Veyron Legend Jean Bugatti is based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse which has an 8 liter W16 engine.

The engine generates 1188 horsepower (1200 PS) and an un-paralleled 110 lb ft (1500 Nm) of torque at 3000 to 5000 rpm. Jean Bugatti can go from 0 to 62 mph in 2.6 seconds making this car a great performance vehicle.

Exterior

The body of this car comes is made of a clear coated carbon fiber in jet black. This makes the car the embodiment of pure elegance and the apex of engineering.

Platinum lends have been used to give the car an extravagant look to go with the EB logo on the rear and the popular Bugatti horseshoe located at the front grille allowing the car to have a more striking look.

This vehicle’s elegance is enhanced by the wheels which feature black diamond-cut rims.

Interior

The seats, steering wheel, instrument panel, dash panel, door trim panels, center console and the windscreen cross member are in chocolate brown.

The intricate and especially the eye-catching embroidery on the door panels and rear storage compartment add to the supercar’s allure.

With the chocolate brown, contrasted against its leather upholstery in a light beige silk color extended across the center console, you are treated to Neapolitan faire.

The combination continues on the foot-well, door panels, and also the handle recesses. The unique decorative stitching in this car has been chosen to complement the leather material used.

The 2014 Nissan X-Trail was unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. This car is set to replace the Nissan Qashqai +2 as the company’s 7-seat model.

The XTrail has been a featured Crossover in parts of Europe and Asia. The Xterra is perhaps the closest the American public has seen. This updated version meets an assortment of needs from the riding and driving global market. It is expected to be released in July 2014.

You have the option with either diesel or petrol powered engines. The base turbo diesel comes with an inline 4, 2.0 liter engine that produces 171 horsepower; while the base petrol, the M9R, is a 2.0 liter engine that provides 147 horsepower.

Exterior

The idea behind this Crossovers exterior design is to blend the sleek and stylish lines with the sturdy appeal of a typical SUV. Unlike the previous models that had a rugged, squared off line, this new offering has a premium and a dynamic appearance.

The interior is offered with optional 2 extra seats to create room for 7 people. With all seats up, you are given 62.6 cu ft of cargo room.

Technology

The Nissan X-Trail will definitely be one of the most advanced vehicles on the road. The car will benefit from the NissanConnect in-car navigation, entertainment and information system.

It also has Smartphone connectivity, 7-inch color touch screen, Bluetooth audio streaming, USB slots, 5 inch TFT color display and a wide range of apps covering social networking, music and entertainment.

Chassis

The new X-Trail has adopted Nissan’s advanced electronic 4-wheel drive system, ALL MODE 4x4i, this is controlled through a rotary switch on the center console. You can choose between 2-wheel drive, Auto mode, and the Lock that offers permanent 4-wheel drive.

The name Renault Megane is definitely not new in the auto market. The first model was launched back in 1995 and since then the Megane I, II and III have been highly popular models.

The new 2014 Renault Megane promises to continue the excellent tradition people have come to expect from Renault. It is expected to go on sale in the beginning of 2014 in Europe, and later in the year, to other countries.

Performance

The engines will essentially remain the same as the current model. You can choose from a 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0-liter diesel engines, or 1.2 or 1.6-liter petrol.

Exterior

The 2014 Megane is all about stylishness. Whichever trim you choose, the Berline, the Coupe, the Estate, or the Coupe-Cabriolet, what you find in your Megane is a sporty look.

At first glance, you will notice that the bumper and bonnet are similar and provide a sense of familiarity from the past. However, there are a number of distinctive features which make the Megane stand out.

The enticing range of body colors, coupled with the new headlights featuring gloss black eyelids, 17 inch alloy wheels and gloss black bumpers are bound to make the new Renault Megane very promising and have it rank among the top sellers in this range.

Interior

The Renault’s R-Link infotainment system is included and one can opt for an upgraded audio system by Bose. There is a joystick in the center that will control all the media and information that will be displayed on the dashboard.

The 2014 Nissan Rogue will be available in U.S. showrooms in November of this year.

This crossover vehicle was well worth the wait, given its totally redesigned interior including the addition of third row seating and its technological advancements.

Its longer wheelbase affords passengers wider rear doors that provide easier access to the back.

The best news however may be its starting price which is expected to be in the $22,500 range.

Engine & Performance

The new Nissan Rogue comes standard with a 2.5 liter, inline-4, 170 horsepower engine which is an upgrade from last year.

This is paired with an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT). All wheel drive is an option on all trim levels.

The Rogue can go from 0-60 mph in 7.8 seconds, along with 26 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.

Exterior

A look at the front of the 2014 Rogue will have your attention drawn to the large chrome V-bar grille. Standard LED running lamps match the dual round, horizontal, halogen headlights on either side.

The side view might remind you of the fenders on a BMX X5 and the standard 17 inch wheels provide a nice stance. The exterior rear view mirrors are matched to the cars body color and have integrated turn signals as well.

There is also a rear spoiler on the back roof which aids in the 0.33 coefficient of drag.
Options include an SV moon roof, SL premium package and SV premium or family packages.

Interior

The interior of the new Rogue is much nicer than in previous model. Its style, technology and comfort are unsurpassed in the crossover market segment at its price point. There are LED overhead mood lighting and “FineVision” electro-luminescent gauges reminiscent of those used in the Lexus.

Technologically speaking the vehicle has full Bluetooth capabilities and streaming audio. It can also be equipped with a “NissanConnect” navigation display. Other options include a backup camera and moving object detect system.
