El Paso is the fourth largest city in Texas. It has a total area of 248 square miles. It can be found in the westernmost section of Texas. It has an arid, warm climate. It can be very hot during summers. Winters on the other hand are dry.

The construction of railroads in the late 19th century brought a lot of changes in El Paso. For one, its population boomed. It was also opened to a lot of newcomers. El Paso is strategically located in the intersection of three states namely Texas, New Mexico and Chihuahua. It is also a good entry point from Mexico to America. Because of these, it has become an attractive site for many industries like electronics, construction materials, medical equipment and food production. A very unique thing about the city is that it has more Black or African Americans than White. A survey conducted in 2007 showed that more than half, approximately 55 %, of the population are African Americans. Only 36.3 % are White.

Many offices like law firms, lobbying groups and professional organizations are situated in the city perhaps because they want and need to be close to the seat of the federal government.

Apart from being home to the seats of power, embassies and major firms and organizations, it also houses many historical sites and museums. These attract a lot of tourists into the city. There are also a lot of cultural and performing arts establishments that can be found here. They also bring in a lot of visitors into the place. It is in fact considered as the national center for the arts.

Nashville is the capital of Tennessee. It is the county seat of Davidson County. The US Census Bureau calls the portion of Davidson County excluding satellite cities of Nashville as Nashville-Davidson.

Nashville is situated on the northwestern portion of the Nashville Basin. It has a total area of 526.1 square miles. More than 90 % of it is land area. It has a humid subtropical climate. It has hot and humid summers while winters are cool. The lowest recorded temperature is -17 0F. Apart from music related festivals, it also hosts other festivals that attract tourists. Some of which are Tomato Art Festival, Australian Festival, African Street Festival and Tennessee State Fair.

Nashville also boasts of having The Parthenon, not the original but a full-scale replica.

Denver is the capital of the state of Colorado. It earned the nickname “Mile-High City” because its elevation based on official records is exactly one mile above sea level. It is also called the “Queen City of the Plains”. This came to be because of its vital role in the agricultural industry.

During the mid-19th century, what is now the city of Denver was just a small mining town. It was first called Montana City by gold prospectors who came there. The place was soon changed when these gold prospectors went to other mining towns like Auraria and St. Charles City.

The city hosts several festivals like the Great American Beer Festival and Dragon Boat Festival. The Great American Beer Festival is celebrated in Denver because of it is recognized as the number one beer producing city in the US today.
