2011 Chevrolet COPO Camaro Concept

The Chevrolet Camaro, true to its tradition as a muscle car, is quite an active participant on the drag racing circuit even during the first time it hit the streets. And the most hardcore of Camaro fans know about the COPO (Central Office Production Order), a special model released in the ‘60s specifically designed to compete in Stock Eliminator division of the NHRA Drag Racing circuit. Chevrolet has now revived the COPO name tag in the 2011 Chevrolet COPO Camaro Concept.

Exterior & Interior

This concept managed to be a salute to Camaro heritage and a sneak peek on what lies ahead for the Camaro product line. While the COPO name tag serves to harken back to the time of the special order models of 1969, this concept is as track ready as it gets. In fact, this car is an obvious indicator that Chevrolet wants the Camaro to come back on the drag racing circuit.

Performance

The engine bay can accommodate 2 types of engines: a 5.3 liter supercharged engine and a 7.0 liter normally aspirated engine, both apparently tuned for drag racing purposes. Additional equipment include a full roll cage, a pair of lightweight seats, a Custom Aeromotive fuel system, a NHRA compliant suspension kit, racing brakes, and race ready tires.

The 2011 Chevrolet COPO Camaro Concept is strictly business both inside and out. Even better is that it seems that the release of this concept into production seems to be more like a question of when than if. The drag-ready Camaro is about to return in action.

2013 Fiat Strada

The 2013 Fiat Strada pickup truck is available in three different trims and with three different cab types, providing a range of options to suit many different work environments.

Built to Work

One of the most popular features on this best-selling truck is the impressively large load space. The loading area is just less than 4.3 ft wide and the standard cab model has a little over a 5.5 ft long load space. Obviously, the larger cab sizes reduce the available length. The load area is covered with a protective lining that is scratch resistant and designed to cope with a broad temperature range.

Access to the load area is helped by a removable rear step that can also be folded up. Within the load area are anchor hooks attached to the bottom and the sides of the truck to help in secure loads. The hooks are fitted in such a way as not to cause obstructions when loading the truck. Depending on the trim, the truck can handle loads up to 1550lbs and can tow trailers up to 2200lbs.

Interior

While the Fiat Strada is unquestionably a working vehicle, internally great care has been taken to provide a comfortable ride. The truck is equipped with air-conditioning and climate control. It features anti-submarining seats, has a completely redesigned dashboard and the steering wheel on all but the base trim is height-adjustable.

Performance

The Fiat Strada comes with a 1.3-liter, MultiJet 16-valve engine that is capable of generating 95 horsepower and 147 lbs-ft of torque. While not short on power, the engine delivers really impressive fuel economy managing just over 44 mpg.

The 2013 Fiat Strada is equipped with ABS and the top trim has the optional E-Locker, which is an electronic system providing locking differential. The system is designed to provide safer driving in extreme conditions like snow and ice by automatically adjusting power and brakes on each wheel individually.
