What others say:

“The 2012 Toyota Matrix is closely related to the Corolla sedan, but the Matrix takes a different tack in terms of style and packaging–appealing to a somewhat younger, more active crowd and those who need more versatility.”Car Connection

“These tall wagons are more prone to crosswind wander at highway speeds than lower-built small cars. None has linear steering feel in turns. Fast cornering triggers noseplow and body lean in versions equipped with 16-inch tires, even with AWD. Grip and balance are sharper in S models with the Sport Package. Fine around-town maneuverability. Braking control and pedal feel are good for the class.”Consumer Guide

“Practical and economical, the Matrix has easy cabin access, a roomy rear seat, and good cargo versatility. ”MSN Auto-ConsumerReports 69

“Pleasant ride; intuitive controls; roomy backseat; flat load floor; available all-wheel drive. Disappointing fuel economy; Bluetooth and USB are not available on base model; tall drivers might feel cramped.”Edmunds

“Slotting between a compact hatchback and a small crossover SUV, the 2012 Matrix hatchback offers a big dose of sporty styling and outstanding ride and handling.”KBB
