2025 Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept

Mercedes took a leap of faith when designing the car of the future. Even if it is highly unlikely that the concept will be around when the calendar hits 2025, the design of the vehicle follow the current trend of how SUVs look today and how it may look in the future.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept can never be accused of lacking imagination. Mercedes Benz leads the way once again in the field of designing attractive and functional vehicles.

Engine

Few details were given about the engine when this concept SUV was introduced at the 2012 Los Angeles Design Challenge. According the Mercedes Benz engineers, the car will be running on a 100% green engine.

The Ener-G-Force is using a “hydro-tech-converter” that uses recycled water stored on the roof to power its engine. With a full tank, the SUV is said to be capable of travelling nearly 500 miles.

Performance

Because it is a concept vehicle, not that many people have gotten to drive it and share their experience. What is known is the technological capability of the SUV; it is able to adjust its springs and suspension based on the terrain.

Exterior

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force, both the civilian and the police version have been inspired by the G-Class; it has been a model and automotive icon for some time. Mercedes took the old design and reshaped it for the future. The result is more than impressive.

Interior

It is difficult to anticipate how technology will evolve in the future and what materials will be used. The interior of this SUV remains a mystery. Only time will tell if cars will even have a steering wheel in 2025.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force is a stunning glimpse to the future of off-roading. Even if it is highly unlikely that this design will actually go into production, the SUV comes with the technology that the market today will be asking for tomorrow.

It is a 100% green vehicle with a great looks with the future for all motors under the hood.

2012 SsangYong e-XIV Concept

The Korean motor company, SsangYong, introduces the 2012 SsangYong e-XIV Concept car at the Paris Motor Show in 2012. The e-XIV concept builds on previous offerings from Ssang Yong, with improved technology and a greater range.

The e-XIV benefits from being equipped with a gas engine to supplement the electric engine and increase the range.

Integrated Solar Panel

One of the innovative features of this car is the glass roof, which has a built-in solar panel. The power needed to drive some of the vehicle’s internal electrical systems is drawn from the solar panel. This includes internal lighting, the air conditioning system, and the car’s audio system.

The concept is drive by a 1 liter, two cylinder hybrid engine. At this time, the 20kW motor has a range of 50 miles, after which the petrol engine allows it go 373 miles.

Exterior

The car is intended to be a crossover utility vehicle, and its visual appearance reinforces the impression of a car that is built for practicality rather than performance. It has quite a chunky, box-like appearance.

The designers have significantly reduced the amount of glass in the side and rear windows. The two side windows in the rear are tiny compared to other cars. The smaller side windows at the front result in the car’s two doors having more metal than normal, adding to the solid appearance of the vehicle.

Interior

The car is supplied with four bucket seats, each of which can be adjusted independently. This allows the driver and passengers to individually adjust their seats, and also provides different configurations for storage.

The seats are finished in white and gray trim, and each has built-in headrests. There are separate central consoles dividing both the front pair and the rear pair. Use of purple and blue coloring on various surfaces provides eye-catching contrast to the white and gray.

A graphic display built in to the fascia provides real time information to the driver. The car incorporates the newest developments in IT, providing full interconnectivity for modern smart devices.

Specifications

General Info
Vehicle Type: Super Sport Coupe Est. Market Price: NA
Fuel Tank Capacity: 21.1 gal. (80 l) MPG: NA
Dimensions
Length: 185.8 in. (471.9 cm) Wheelbase: 107.9 in. (274.0 cm)
Height: 50.4 in. (128 cm) Width: 75.0 in. (190.5 cm)
Luggage Capacity: 6.6 cu ft Maximum Seating: 2
Performance
Engine: V12 DOHC Displacement: 6.0 Liter
Horsepower: 557 HP Max RPM: NA
Torque: 486 lb-ft Transmission: 6-Speed Manual

Engine

The base engine of the DBS delivers nearly 517 horsepower. Wheelsandmore developed what they call a “CRP kit”, this includes sport air filters, catalytic converters and an exhaust system with a flap-control option. The “CRP kit” increases the car’s horsepower by 40, the torque by 66 lb-ft, and lowers the speed range of the turbo acceleration.
Wheelsandmore-Aston-Martin-DBS-Carbon-Edition-parked B
Performance

They also lowered the vehicle by 25MM, by doing so, Wheelsandmore increased the downforce of the Aston Martin when driving at high speeds. In addition, the wider tires provide improved road traction, keeping the car low for better handling. The responsive steering is similar to the stock version, making the DBS in the category of supercars that are easy to drive.

Exterior

Wheelsandmore lowered it by 25mm or a little under an inch, as mentioned earlier. No other obvious changes were made, but lowering necessitated changing the tires which give it a more intimidating look. The rims have the unmistakable carbon look. You can opt to go for RAL-colored outlines instead of the standard shades offered by the upgrade kit.Wheelsandmore-Aston-Martin-DBS-Carbon-Edition-bond C

The 2012 Wheelsandmore Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition attempts to re-tune the original design without the use of body kits. The subtle modifications focus on the rims, tires, suspensions and air filters to squeeze out 40 HP more over the stock version.

The ride and handling does benefit from the increased downforce and suspension even if the car itself did not need the improvement.
