Used Mercury

Established in 1939, Mercury is a brand of cars manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. This marquee was founded by the son of Henry Ford, Edsel Ford. The Mercury brand was used to market cars that can be classified as both “entry level” and “luxury”, that would be between the regular Ford-branded models and luxurious models of the Lincoln brand. The brand got its name from Roman mythology, with Mercury being the messenger of the gods.

At the start of the brand, vehicles marketed under the name “Mercury” were renowned for high quality performance. Mercury is currently available in only a few global markets, which include the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico, and the Middle East. Availability of Mercury vehicles in Canada stopped in 1999.
