This mid-size luxury car released in 1989 by Lexus, a Division of Toyota Motor corporation, is built on Toyota Camry’s platform. It has a V6 engine and is in automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The latest model of the ES (the fifth generation) was launched in Chicago Auto Show in 2006. This car features the new design philosophy of Lexus, which is L-finesse. This car also has the Lexus emblem on the grille once again, after the second-generation model has removed it from the grilles.
The ES 350 (the ES new name) has a 3.5 L 2GR-FE V6 engine that is capable of producing 272 hp. This engine can accelerate the car from 0-97 km/h in just 7 seconds but there have been other actual tests that recorded 6.2 seconds for the same acceleration rate.

The ES 350 has a few interior additions like MP3 player with auxiliary input, walnut wood accents, leather seats, Lexus SmartAccess (the keyless entry and ignition system), Lexus Park Assist (sonar-based warning system), DVD navigation system and 14-speaker Mark Levinson premium audio system to name a few. Although this car is being made in Japan, it was never sold there.
