Used Ferrari

If you are a sports car fanatic then you definitely have heard of Ferrari but there are still some things that you might not know about the top sports car manufacturer in the world.

Ferrari is an Italian company based in Maranello, Italy. It was founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1928. Back then, the company was known as Schuderia Ferrari (pronounced as skoo-deh-REE-ah) which literally means Ferrari Stable and usually taken as Team Ferrari. Schuderia Ferrari is a sponsor for race car drivers using the Alfa Romeo cars. By 1938, Enzo Ferrari was hired by Alfa Romeo. He was to lead the Motor Racing Department. After Alfa Romeo got confiscated by the Fascist Government in 1941, Schuderia, which was unaffected because it was too small a division, became Auto Avio Costruzioni Ferrari. This company produces motor parts and aircraft accessories.

Ferrari produced its first car, the Tipo 815 under SEFAC or Schuderia Enzo Ferrari Auto Corse but because of World War II, it saw little competition. By 1943, the factory moved to Maranello and stayed there for good.

1947 was the year when Ferrari launched its first road car, 1947 125 S with 1.5 L V12 engine. Although Enzo Ferrari was reluctant to sell his cars, he did so to fund Schuderia Ferrari.
