The 2015 McLaren 650S is officially out, it is the new model in McLaren’s growing portfolio.
This car was launched in a bid to compete with Lamborghini, Ferrari and Porsche at the top of the supercar league.
This car is powerful compared to the previous models.

Engine & Performance
The engine in this new sports car is the M838T turbocharged 3.8 liter V8 engine found in the 12C and P1.
The car can sprint from zero to 62 mph in just 3 seconds. It takes 8.4 second to hit 124 mph and 25.4 seconds to hit 186 mph.
At a speed of 186 mph, this car run the quarter-mile in only 10.5 seconds. The top speed is 207 mph.
The McLaren Air-brake has also been refined and is now more intelligent in how it deploys. The Air-brake doesn’t just work while braking, its rear wing now flattens at very high speeds in a straight line, just like the Formula 1 DRS system.
Exterior
The exterior of this sports is a combination of the 12C and P1. However, from the front end, the car is modeled after new P1 super-car.
The large intakes behind the doors feed air into the radiators to keep the turbo V8 cool. Split-spoke wheels are all forged and are actually bespoke to 650.
The car tires are branded MCI and are exclusive to 650S. They were actually developed by Pirelli just for the 650S.
Interior
The interior is identical to the 12C. Sufficient leather and suede-finished surfaces have been lavished on the 650S, including the navigation and control system furnished with an updated version of McLaren’s ProActive Chassis-control system.
The standard equipment include Bluetooth, a satellite radio and the navigation. For those who wish to add extra weight, you can opt for the fixed-back racing seats which are made of the carbon fiber.
