2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4

When Lamborghini turned 50, the Italian automaker celebrated its anniversary by releasing special edition models. One of them is the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4.

This is being unveiled at 2014 Geneva Auto show. The car was designed as the successor to its most successful production car ever, the Gallardo. Huracan has joined the Aventador; this is in what has been described as the youngest Lamborghini since the company purchased was purchased by Audi in 1998.

Engine

The Huracan will be powered by a V10 5.2 liter engine. The engine produces 610 hp at 8250 rpm and about 414 lb ft of torque at 6500 rpm.

The 1,422 kg supercar just needs 3.2 seconds to sprint from 0 to 62 mph and 9.9 seconds from 0 to 124 mph. the car’s engine is Euro 6 compliant and enables the car to have an average fuel consumption of about 12.5 liters / 100km.

Exterior

The car is available in 4 wheel drive only. This car has a highly extravagant exterior look, with distinctive wedge-shaped silhouette.

The design engineers have placed a lot of emphasis on an impression of the width; this can be noted in the newly added flare of wheel arches and the large cooling ducts just towards the car’s rear.

The Huracan will have a longer wheelbase and much wider tracks, giving the car a larger footprint. To shed off the weight, this super car makes great use of carbon fiber.

Interior

The car’s interior is dominated by an innovative cockpit. There is a 12.3 inch full-color TFT instrument panel that delivers the entire car’s information to the driver.

These ranges from navigation maps to rev counter and infotainment functions; all these can be configured by driver in different setups. New lighting has been added to the interior by the dashboard’s design and central tunnel.

The fine Nappa leather and Alcantara distinguish the interior, with several color combinations to offer a broad individualization options.
