At this year’s New York Auto Show, the new 2014 Kia Forte Koup was introduced. The new Forte Koup rounds out the line up as the third and final member of Kia’s new offering for 2014.
The sporty two door coup has been upgraded and redesigned for the ultimate driver experience. In addition, European design elements that can be experienced take this Forte to the next level.

Engine & Performance
The new Koup is available in EX and SX, with a powerful engine. A 2.0 liter four cylinder engine and a 1.6 liter turbo are amongst the choices you will have. In addition, a six speed automatic transmission is offered to go with the new automatic paddle shifters.
Drivers can take advantage of better performance technology by Kia. The engineers have modified the performance capabilities with multiple upgrades that include driver assist technologies. A “Rear Camera Display”, a custom fit steering wheel, and increased brake size are all standard. This will come in handy since the Kia Forte Koup produces 201 horsepower and almost 200 lb ft of torque.
The new sports car suspension system also improves performance capabilities to give the driver the ultimate in handling ability.
New Design Features
Kia has been a leader in affordable design options since their inception. Optional HID headlights, temperature control for seats, and premium leather that serves to protect the inside instruments, help give the Koup a look of luxury and feel. High quality materials give way for chrome accents on the dash and a roomy designed cabin.
Exterior
The sleek exterior is enhanced by the LED lights that are recessed within the fender. The wide body and large 18 inch alloy wheels help to improve the Koup’s appearance. The design goes further by including twin chrome exhaust pipes and a lowered roof line for a more aerodynamic form.
Kia has taken the final Forte installment to the next level. The 2014 Forte Koup gives you functionality and style in the hopes Kia receives a fair share of the market. The Koup is expected to be on sale the by the end of 2013.
