While the Regal has always been one of the more vibrant midsize sedans, the 2014 Buick Regal is now a lot sportier as well. A quick side glimpse displays recessed lines from the front to the rear doors which give the illusion that the car is in motion even when standing still.
Styling changes are evident on the inside, as well as under its skin. Safety was not forgotten in the equation either with Buick’s addition of a new camera based and radar technology.

Engine & Performance
With all these changes, it should come as no surprise that a new and improved engine comes with it as well. It comes with the base 2.4 liter 4 cylinder ECOTEC engine that gives you 182 horsepower.
The Regal can also be had in a Turbo and GS model which come with a 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder, turbo-charged engine that supplies 259 HP. These 2 models have all wheel drive availability with the capability of sending in excess of 90% of the torque to the rear wheels.
Some of the other enhancements include an air to air-intercooling system and jet spray cooling of the pistons. Optimum handling is achieved with the new Buick Regal via the all wheel drive (AWD) function supported by an array of technological advancements giving the driver total control in a variety of driving conditions.
Exterior
To add to its sporty appearance, the 2014 Regal is lower and wider this year. Upfront the LED headlights include daytime running lamps. In between, the grille is also new, featuring vertical trim in an upsweep front face. The lines already mentioned on the vehicles side are duplicated on each side of the front fender with scoops contributing to its active profile.
The rear is accentuated with dual exhaust outlets sitting below the wing shaped taillights joined together by a chrome strip that runs the length of the back end. Literally topping off the trunk is an integrated rear spoiler finishing off the total sports vision the new Regal gives you.
Interior
Inside the 2014 Buick Regal, “technology” is the word of the day. This is centered on the Intellilink Infotainment System. The systems main component is the 8 inch touch screen located in the center console.
Another 4.2 inch color hi-res control screen is part of the newly designed dashboard. The steering wheel has also been updated and contains additional infotainment and safety features.
