BMW’s tuning division, M, just revealed its newest Sports Activity crossover, the 2014 BMW X6 M Design Edition.
Only 100 of this edition is expected to be available for public consumption.
According to BMW, this vehicle receives exterior and interior upgrades which make for an eye-catching, sporty appearance.

Engine
The X6 M design edition is powered by 4.4 liter petrol engine. Its Twin Power Turbo, 8 cylinder engine is paired with a 6-speed M sport-automatic transmission.
The engine generates a 555 horsepower with a peak torque of 502 lbs ft. All this power is transferred via the xDrive-all-wheel-drive system.
Performance
The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. For great control, the engineers have equipped the vehicle with a lever selector, complemented by M-shift paddles on steering wheel.
It comes with 21 inch light-alloy wheels in a double-spoke design. All the wheels are fitted with high-performance brakes; the front wheels are paired with 4-piston calipers and 395 discs while all rear wheels are paired with single-piston calipers and 385 millimeter discs.
Exterior
At the front, as expected you will find BMW’s signature kidney grille in black together with mirror caps. The car’s aerodynamic design is characterized by a carbon M-Performance front splitter, rear diffuser and an M-Performance rear spoiler.
Its overall appearance is transformed, thanks to a unique and stylish variation on the paint job.
Interior
The interior receives a plush, sporty upgrade. The cabin has been done in a full Merino leather and a 2 tone instrument panel in Mugello Red or Black with the Mugello Red contrasting the stitching.
The front seats are heated and come in red leather. Technology features include lumbar support, M-specific screen, storage package, a Hi-Fi Professional and a high-end BMW audio system which supports an array of entertainment features.
The vehicle is equipped with sun protection glass that helps keep the interior cool.
