Audi 100 C1

The Audi 100 C1 version was launched in the year 1968 and its production ended in the year 1976.

The Audi 100 C1 was first displayed on 26th November 1968 and it was huge business success. The first models are four door saloons and it consisted of a 1.8 liter I4 engine that delivers an output power of 99 hp.

Later a two door saloon was introduced in the year 1969 and 100 Coupe S in the year 1970. Both these cars consisted of 3-speed automatic transmission and the engines used in these cars are
• 1.8 liter engine that delivers an output power of 79 hp
• 1.8 liter engine that delivers an output power of 89 hp
• 1.8 liter engine that delivers an output power of 99 hp

In the year 1971, Audi manufactured its 500,000th car. In the year 1972, 80 and 90 PS petrol versions have been launched which consisted of a 1.8 liter engine that delivers an output power of 84 hp.

In the year 1973 some changes were made to the Audi 100 which included the taillights, facelift and smaller grille. The 1975 model consisted of a 1.6 liter engine with four cylinders.
