Engine

The idea behind the design of CC100’s engine is based entirely on the V12 Vantage. It has a capacity of 6.0 liters and gives you up to 500 horsepower.

The engine is fixed on an aluminum chassis that’s rigid and is aided by a sequential automated-manual gearbox accompanied by paddle shifters. This set up is just enough to give the CC100 an acceleration of up to 62 miles per hour in just 4.0 seconds according to Aston Martin.

Exterior

The CC100’s body is entirely new and is completely made of carbon fiber provided by Multimatic Inc. It was designed and built at Aston Martin’s global headquarters in less than six months.

It is important to mention that the overall design was based on the ideas of Aston’s chief designers in collaboration with other designers.

The CC100 Speedster measures 180″ from the nose to the tail and 78″ wide. Actually, it is proof of Aston Martin’s trademark flexibility based on Vertical Horizontal platform design and engineering philosophy.

Actually, its design not just about the reflection of the past since the car gives us a quick look of Aston Martin’s potential future design direction.

For instance, one of the key concept features includes a new dimension on the Aston fender vent and grille that gives CC100 Speedster Concept a new design.

Interior

The interior features a combination of carbon fiber and leather for the seats. The carbon fiber and leather is used for some of the trimming, straps and door panels that give its interior a retro-look.
