Engine

The new MDX is equipped with a new 24 valve 3.5 liter i-VTEC V6 engine that also includes the Variable Cylinder Management system. This allows the vehicle to produce nearly 290 horsepower and 267 feet of torque.

The architectural design of the SUV can also be seen on two prize winning race cars. Available with a sporty 6 speed automatic transmission and Sequential SportShift Paddle Shifters, the new MDX will provide drivers with multiple power options and enhanced performance.

Drivers will not only find that the MDX has better fuel efficiency, but it also has improved acceleration, a better braking system, and more precise handling capabilities. Acura’s new Amplitude Reactive Dampers in the front and rear suspension give the vehicle a smoother ride and drivers a better handling experience.

Technology

The MDX improves on Acura’s already signature features. The Acura Jewel Eye LED headlamps, luxury audio system and AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic are just a few of the technological upgrades that drivers can look forward to.

In addition, Acura offers a wide array of technology that enables drivers to be safe. The multi-angle rear view camera and Lane Keeping Assist System create a confident experience for drivers and passengers alike.

Luxury Interior

The versatility of the Acura MDX will amaze customers. The new and improved features for the second and third row seating provide comfort for family and friends. There is more front and rear seat storage space, as well as increased space in the cargo area of the SUV.

A one touch power control walkway makes way for a wider entrance. In addition, a new Extended Slide capability allows for a more comfortable ride with more legroom.
