Compliments of Barcelona, Spain we introduce you to the 2014 Seat Leon SC. At first glance, there is no reason to believe this year’s model won’t continue with its previous successes. Over one million Leon’s have been sold since their initial offering in 1999.

This Leon brings a functionality to go along with a very stylish medium sized hatchback profile. It’s a combination of quality materials and superior workmanship, which bodes well for its future success.

Engine & Performance

With the new 2014 Leon SC, the automaker is offering a powerful yet efficient engine options. All the engines are turbocharged and come with direct injection. You may choose from the 1.2 TSI that generates up to 104 horsepower or the 1.4 TSI that rates 139 horsepower.

For those of you who prefer a little more spark a 1.8TSI with 178 horsepower is also offered. There are be a variety of transmissions available based on your engine of choice. These include 5 and 6 speed manual transmission, as well as a DSG dual clutch automatic.

Exterior

The 2014 Leon SC may have struck the perfect balance with its proportional height, width and length. Even standing still it evokes a sporty appearance and is easily recognized cruising down the highway.

The front begins with the triangular wing-like headlamps on either side of the black mesh-designed grille. A large chrome “S” proudly announces its arrival. Large bottom air intakes follow the grille pattern while giving the semblance of speed.

Interior

Inside the Seat Leon SC you are greeted by an ergonomically friendly instrument panel where everything is easy to reach and read. The comfortable front buckets and rear bench seat, and the dashboard, are padded. The rear seating also has not 2, but 3 headrests. The steering wheel has its own unique design and is available with optional multi-controls.

There is plenty of storage room. The rear seat folds all the way down providing an extra flat surface.
