2010 Fisker Karma Production

Fisker Karma, the premier plug-in electric hybrid car, mesmerizes with its elegant exterior design and plush interiors that meld traditional & timeless elements with contemporary styling.

The four-door sports sedan that can seat four people utilizes a Ford Ecotec Inline-4 to generate electricity for long trips, which kicks in after 50 gasoline-free miles has been used. Car users who charge the car overnight and commute below 50 miles per day may realize fuel savings averaging 100 mpg (2.4L/100km) annually.

The 2010 Fisker Karma Production can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds and run at topmost speed of 125 mph. Massive lateral grip is delivered by large, wide tires while stopping power is unproblematic given the electrohydraulic brakes.

Inspired by other luxury marques, Fisker Karma set out to offer a glorious luxury car option that’s not only kind to the environment but relatively affordable, through partner Quantum Technologies. The eco-chic car touted for its zero emissions uses Q-DRIVE plug-in hybrid technology that may operate in Stealth Mode or Sport Mode. This configuration includes a generator turned by a small gasoline engine, which charges the lithium ion battery pack, and powers the electric motor. The 2010 Fisker Karma has an attractively sculpted and dramatic look. It comes with a functional solar roof.
