Being veneer doesn’t make it fake, most cars dont use actual slabs of wood because it takes up space and cant be applied to things.

the difference between FAKE and real is plastic trim vs actual wood veneer.

It is built like plywood with the different layers providing stability to the final layer. May were done in Burl Walnut. Others in Elm.
