High demand of the Altima has forced the production of the model to be done in two Nissan production plants – in Smyrna, Tennessee and, since 2004, in Canton, Mississippi. Used Nissan Frontier

Nissan Frontier 150

Available in markets like North America, Central and South America and the Philippines, the Nissan Frontier is Nissan’s 2nd generation of D22 and D40 pickup trucks. After the D21 series was discontinued in 2002, production of the Frontier started, along with the discontinuation of its availability in Japan.

In other markets such as Europe and Australia, the Frontier has slight variations and is more popularly marketed as the Nissan Navara from 1998 until 2005 when it was replaced with the D40, which still more or less is a variation of the Frontier, only bigger and taller. The Navara is also available in South Africa, China, and Egypt and has switch branding from Frontier in Mexico.

Although stripped of the “skyline” brand, the GT-R still carries some features that made the Skyline a very popular brand – an all-wheel drive, a 6 cylinder engine with twin-turbo capacity. The HICAS system with four-wheel steering, as well as the straight-6 RB26DETT engine were changed. The replacement is the V6 VR38DETT engine. Moreover, the moniker “Godzilla” was inherited by the GT-R from the Skyline. The GT-R has received acclaim from various institutions, including Automobile Magazine which named it as the 2009 Automobile of the Year.
