Mondial 8, released in 1980, was the first Ferrari car to be named as such, which is different from their usual three-numbered naming scheme. This model uses Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection V8 the same one in the unloved Dino 308 model. The Mondial was the Ferrari that has two valves per cylinders. This was revised with the four-valve per cylinder Mondial Quattrovalvole released in 1982. This model was the basis for the Ferrari 308 GTB/GTS Quattrovalvole. The 3.2 Mondial, with a 3.2 L, 4-valve per cylinder V8 engine, was released in 1985 and was in the market for four years. This model has been remodeled with the bumpers changed to body color. The last evolution of the Mondial, the Mondial t was final model for the series. This was very different from the previous models released visually. The air intakes were the most recognizable change because it has become smaller and neater rectangular shape. A black band around the bottom body was added along with handles and bumpers being body-colored.

Used Ferrari Testarossa

Ferrari Testarossa 150

Testarossa (“red head” in Italian) was the named used by Ferrari for their car produced in 1984. The name was chosen by Ferrari and Pininfarina to describe the red-painted cam covers for the car similar to redheaded women. The comparison to women’s body parts was a way that the two have used to name their cars. Pininfarina designed the Testarossa’s body. Its “cheese graters” was the solution for the overheating cabin due to the twin radiators in the rear instead of the usual single radiator in the front. The side strakes (cheese graters) also improved the stability and the handling due to the widening of the car.

Jeep Cherokee for Sale

Jeep Cherokee 150

From 1974 up until 1983, the Jeep brand, which then was still owned by AMC or the American Motors Corporation, manufactured the Jeep Cherokee SJ series. The Cherokee SJ was a SUV that was full-sized. It shared similarities with the Jeep Wagoneer, which was originally designed in 1963 by Brooks Stevens. When it first came out, the Cherokee was introduced to the market as the Jeep’s station wagon’s sporty two-door offering. It was three years later, in 1977, when a four-door model was added to the Cherokee SJ lineup.

The Cherokee was manufactured in eight trims – base model, S (Sport), Chief, Golden Eagle, Limited, Classic, Sport, Pioneer, and Laredo. Two engines were available for the SUV, the AMC I6 or V8 powerplants. Distinctive aesthetics for the Cherokee included leaf springs that were semi-elliptical in the rear and front. It was mainly produced in Toledo, Ohio. It was the first vehicle to be given the “Achievement Award” by Four Wheeler Magazine. The award was later renamed as the “Four Wheeler of the Year” award.
