The C70 is a stylish convertible and departed from Volvo’s decades-long traditional style of rectilinear boxy designs. Its features include seat belt pre-tensioners, glass rear window that is heat-tempered, automatic (pop-up) rollover hoops, boron steel reinforced A-pillars, and side and front airbags Safety is also very much evident in the Volvo C70 which has a structure around the passenger area that is built like a horseshoe. Volvo S70 150

The Volvo S70, a mid-size luxury car, represents the continuing evolution of automobiles from Volvo Cars into more stylish vehicles. The Swedish automaker marketed the S70 between 1997 and 2000 under two badges the S70 sedan and the V70 station wagon.

Both variants mainly showcased revised suspensions and new styling of the Volvo 850s that were sold from 1993 to 1997. Even as the S70s were mere updated iterations of the 850s, an S70 model sported more rounded body styles than the Volvo 850.

The S70 came in six trim levels: Base, SE, GL, GLT, T5 and the R exclusively sold in Europe. Exterior features, in addition to a rounder front end, included a reshaped hood and new headlights. Side and dual front airbags were the innovations in the S70’s new interior. Among the introductions in the Volvo S70 mechanical department is a new electronic brake modulation system to help optimize performance.

Volvo S80 150

Accident-prone drivers will feel more secure with the Volvo S80. This executive sedan from the Swedish auto manufacturer Volvo Cars has one of the best ratings in crash tests. The first-generation S80s (1998–2005) held this distinction for five years, while the second generation scored the highest in a 2007 crash safety test for head-on, rear and side collisions.

This stellar safety performance of the second-generation S80 results from the car’s improved engineering brought partly by a more rigid, stiffer chassis. First generation S80s were exclusively available in sedans, but a station wagon version was added in the second iteration which was actually the estate variant of the V70 series.

This shakeup partly reflects a major product overhaul going on at Volvo to come up with large, luxurious sedans and wagons. Styling of the Volvo S80 is distinctive for its tail lights and belt lines that narrow as they go up curves and points, a characteristic later seen in the entire Volvo lineup.
