Audi 100 C3, 200 & 5000

The Audi 100, 200 and 5000 models have been launched in the year 1982 and its production ended in the year 1991.

These cars featured wheel covers, black side doors and window frames. The Audi 100 featured a MC Turbo engine and a 2.5L I5 engine that delivers an output power of 118 bhp.

The Audi 200 featured a 2.2L Turbo 5 cylinder engine and this engine was designed according to the different markets. The engine used in the Audi 200 delivered an output power of 165 bhp to 220 bhp.

The Audi 5000 has been controversial in the United States. Later the 5000 name has been abandoned and it used the name of Audi 100 with Audi 200 engine.

Audi 100 C1

The Audi 100 C1 version was launched in the year 1968 and its production ended in the year 1976.

The Audi 100 C1 was first displayed on 26th November 1968 and it was huge business success. The first models are four door saloons and it consisted of a 1.8 liter I4 engine that delivers an output power of 99 hp.

Later a two door saloon was introduced in the year 1969 and 100 Coupe S in the year 1970. Both these cars consisted of 3-speed automatic transmission and the engines used in these cars are

• 1.8 liter engine that delivers an output power of 89 hp
• 1.8 liter engine that delivers an output power of 99 hp

In the year 1971, Audi manufactured its 500,000th car. In the year 1972, 80 and 90 PS petrol versions have been launched which consisted of a 1.8 liter engine that delivers an output power of 84 hp.

In the year 1973 some changes were made to the Audi 100 which included the taillights, facelift and smaller grille. The 1975 model consisted of a 1.6 liter engine with four cylinders.

Audi 80 B4

The Audi 80 B4 version was launched in the year 1991 and its production ended in the year 1995.

The European B4 consisted of leather seats, air conditioning, automatic transmission and cruise control. It featured a four cylinder petrol engine that delivered an output power of 116 PS.

The petrol versions are four wheel drive and it consisted of 5-speed manual transmission, V6 headlights and 2.0 L four cylinder engines. The 1994 version was known as “Europa” and it featured air bags, power mirrors, optional immobilizer, alloy wheels and optional air conditioning or power sunroof.

In the year 1995 new 16 inch alloy wheels, leather steering wheel and leather interiors have been added also the production of the B4 ended in the same year.

Aston Martin DB7

The Aston Martin DB7 was manufactured by the Aston Martin Lagonda in between the years 1994-2003.

The DB7 is a grand tourer and the predecessor of Aston Martin V8. The DB7 is available in both coupe and convertible models. The car was designed by Ian Callum, a British car designer and it was considered as the most beautiful car during its period.

DB7 V12 Vantage
The V12 Vantage was launched in the year 1999. It consists of a 6.0 L V12 engine with 48 valves that delivers an output power of 420 bhp and 540 N-m torque. The car was available in both five speed automatic and six speed manual gear box. It reaches the speed of 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and the top speed of the car is 186 mph.

DB7 V12 GT and GTA
This version was launched in the year 2002. It consisted of a V12 engine that delivers an output power of 435 bhp and 560 N-m torque.

Aston Martin Lagonda

The Aston Martin Lagonda is a four door luxury car manufactured by the Aston Martin Lagonda Limited in between the years 1976-1991.

The Lagonda was mainly designed to meet the financial needs of the Aston Martin Lagonda Limited in the 1970s. The Aston Martin Lagonda Limited first thought of building a 2+2 sports car, but the project never happened and later the Lagonda was produced.

The Lagonda has been designed by William Towns, a British car designer. The car was hand built and the price of the car was £150,000 which makes it equal with Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit and Bentley Mulsanne.

The Lagonda is the world’s first car to feature a digital instrument panel and make use of computer management and the Lagonda second series made use of cathode ray tubes.

The Lagonda consists of a 5.3 L V8 carbureted engine with a capacity of 5340 cc and three speed automatic transmission and the top speed is about 143 mph.
