2009 Pontiac G8 GXP Street Concept

Both the Pontiac G8 GXP and the LSX454 has a crate engine from GM Performance Parts and are ready for 2009. Also, the GM engineers have no other way to highlight this ferocious street monster. In the factory, the G8 GXP features a 6.2L V-8 rated at 415 lb –ft of torque, but the new LSX454 delivers a 7.4 liter of unadulterated cough. The handling and stopping performance of this car are forwarded with a lowered ride height, stiffer springs and a disc brake package borrowed from the Cadillac CTS-V.

The calipers are painted red and featured CNC-milled GXP logos that are visible with a set of customer 20-inch aluminum wheels with a wicked black chrome touch. The exterior of the silver G8 GXP Street concept wears a custom front and a rear fascias and a new rocker panel that gives it a more unique look. Given the face that this is a racing car, there is also a performance exhaust system with custom-cut aluminum tip exiting through the rear fascia. Overall, this car is a menacing car and it has the system to back up the attitude.
