Jeep Wagoneer for Sale

Jeep Wagoneer 150

The Jeep Wagoneer, available from 1963 until 1991, was one of the most enduring brands of vehicles. This sport utility vehicle (SUV) was first made by Willys Motors, which at that time, had a name change to Kaiser Jeep Corporation. The first batch of Wagoneers used Willys’ 140 hp “Tornado” SOHC 3.8 L inline six-cylinder engine. The fuel efficiency of the engine took a back seat as cooling concerns were the owner’s main problems.

A lower-compression 133 hp version of the engine was introduced in 1964. When American Motors Company acquired Jeep, engine noise, vibration and engine harshness were the components that were prioritized by AMC for improvement. The Wagoneer continued its popularity when Chrysler acquired Jeep in 1987, with redesigning of taillamps, grille, and instrument panel was done. By the time the Wagoneer line was to be discontinued, a lot of its parts were sourced from the other auto companies like Ford and GM.

Used Lincoln Aviator

Lincoln Aviator 150

The Lincoln Aviator was produced by the Lincoln luxury division of Ford Motor Company as a mid-size SUV. This model is only available with a 4.6 L Double Overhead Camshaft V8 gasoline engine and is much like the Navigator. It does not look much atypical from the pervasive Ford Explorer, which it was based on.

When facing Lincoln Aviator’s front, one will like its smooth classy looking front frame, shape and angle of its headlights. Several adjustable positions can be found on the seats from low to seating up high. Working against the Lincoln Aviator was that it was valued similar to the relatively and larger Ford Expedition. Originally, the Lincoln Aviator was to be shown on the basis of the CD3 platform in 2007. However, Ford scrapped the Aviator’s name and the automobile has been replaced by the MKX model mid-size crossover sport utility vehicle, which was unveiled in December 2006.

Estimated Price Range for Used Lincoln Aviator: $4,500-$18,000

Used Lincoln Continental

Lincoln Continental 150

Ford Motor Co.’s Lincoln division produced the Lincoln Continental automobile. This automobile, which was succeeded by the Lincoln Town Car, is a distinctively styled luxury car. Its first model was developed as one-off personal vehicle of Edsel Ford. Eugene T. Gregorie allegedly sketched the design of this automobile in an hour.

Production of the Lincoln Continental was suspended after the Pearl Harbor attack. The features of this car include dual front airbags, roomy interior and anti-lock brakes. For most of this model’s lifetime, the Continental nameplate pertained to the 4-door flagship of Lincoln. In the year 1981, its reign ended when the Lincoln Town Car took over. The first generation of this model can be recognized as a channeled Zephyr.

All Lincoln Continental models that were made after 1958 were assembled at the Wixom Assembly Plant of Ford and the last model rolled off the construction line on the 26th of July 2002.

Used Lincoln LS

Lincoln LS 150

This mid-size sedan is based on the DEW98 platform of Ford that was shared with the Ford Thunderbird and the Jaguar S-Type. Production of the Lincoln LS starts from 1999 up to 2006. Its versions were basically coined as LS8 and LS6, depending on the choice of engine. On the other hand, those terms were replaced with “LS V8” and “LS V6” after the Lexus division of Toyota became concerned regarding the possibility for naming mix-up with its Lexus LS.

Lincoln LS was the first model in decades to tender an elective manual transmission. The price of this model ranged from over 30,000 dollars in 1999 to around 45,000 dollars in 2004. In the year 2006, its price ranged from 39,945 dollars to 49,100 dollars. The growth on its base price is primarily caused by the removal of the LS V6 entry level. Lincoln LS is available with either a 3.0 L V8 or 3.0 L V6 engine.
