Used Acura Integra

Acura Integra 150

The Integra is one of the two cars introduced by Honda Motor into the US market through its luxury car division Acura in 1986. It debuted into the American market with the V-6 powered Legend. The Acura Integra came out in two body designs. One was a five door hatchback, and the other as a three-door model of the same body style. It was the smallest, least costly model in the Acura stable. A sedan was sold during the first three generations of the Integra, though this version was dropped when the series moved to its fourth-generation DC 5 platform.

Integra’s three- and five-door hatchback bodies were both released with a 1.6L DOHC 16-valve, four cylinder engine. The car’s most written about feature was its engine as the DOHC multi-valve engines were quite a novelty in entry-level models at that time. Acura added the GS-R trim level (DB2 chassis code) to the Integra in 1992. It was powered by a variant of the highly successful B16A engine, called the B17A1, which was only intended for the American market.

Estimated Price Range for Acura Integra: $1000-$22,000

Acura Legend 150

The Acura Legend belonged to the first cars marketed under the Acura nameplate in the USA when the luxury car division of Honda Motor started its North American operations in 1986. Sold up to 1995, the Legend was sold as both a coupe and a sedan. It was the top-of-the-line sedan under the Acura nameplate until it was replaced in 1996 by the 3.5RL. Acura Legend sedan models were the first to be introduced, and these cars drew their power from a new 161-hp (120 kW) 2.7L C27A engine.

Car and Driver magazine was impressed with the car and named it one of the Ten Best Cars for three consecutive years. The Legend likewise earned kudos from Motor Trend magazine which cited as the 1987 “Import Car of the Year”. Manual-equipped Legends could accelerate to 97 km/h (60 mph) in under 8 seconds and reach a top speed of 135 mph (217 km/h). Sedan models had a coefficient drag amounting to 0.32, while the coupes were rated at only 0.30.
