Used Porsche Boxster

Porsche Boxster 150

Porsche AG first manufactured its Boxster, a mid-engined roadster, in 1996 and was introduced as a 1997 model. The first-generation Porsche Boxster came powered with a 2.5L flat six-cylinder engine.

The Boxster S variant was launched in 2000 featuring a larger 3.2L motor and the base model’s engine was upgraded to a more powerful 2.7 liter motor. Styling and engine output were again upgraded on both versions in 2003.

A new generation of Porsche Boxster models rolled off the assembly line in 2005. This was the 987 which was even more powerful than the previous version and its styling based on the Carrera GT. In 2007, engine output was increased again with both Boxster models receiving the engines from their corresponding Porsche Cayman iterations.

Several mechanical and cosmetic upgrades were incorporated into the Porsche Boxster models in 2009, resulting in better looks as well as increased performance and engine output.

Used Porsche Cayman

Porsche Cayman 150

The Porsche Cayman, a rear-wheel drive, mid-engined two-seat sports car, was launched in the 2006 model year after two years of development. Its coupe body design was derived from the second generation Porsche Boxster convertible.

Aside from the mid-engine platform, the Cayman also shares the Boxter’s fenders and trunk lid, taillights, headlights, side doors, front and forward portion of the interior. Two classic Porsches, the 904 coupe and the 550 coupe also served as the basis for the Cayman’s body design.

There are three flat-6 engine options for the Porsche Cayman, 2.7L, 2.9L and the 3.4L displacements. The 3.4L configuration is available for the Cayman S variant that was used in the Boxter S but with cylinder heads derived from the 3.8L motor of the Porsche 997. The 2.7L M97.20 engine, less powerful but more fuel efficient, powers the base model. The transmission on the base Cayman is a five-speed manual transaxle. A six-speed manual goes as the default transmission for the Cayman S.

Used Buick Electra

Buick Electra 150

Buick Electra, which was introduced in the market in 1959, followed the Roadmaster. It was a big car with a sporty streak. It was imbued with Buick’s traditional styling cues. It was an eminently desirable car during its time. An embodiment of luxury, speed & comfort, the Electra reportedly generated brisk sales, even though motorists were lured by the compact vehicles which arrived in the marketplace.

The Electra 225 offered even more interior space but a bit less maneuverability. Though not as electrifying for some people as its name may suggest, the Electra was a beguiling car. It was powered by a V-8 engine. The four door sedan’s standard features included power-assisted brakes and steering. Luxury car lovers during the mid-1960s who wanted their vehicles wide and long took delight in the Electra’s sleek looks inside & out. The rooflines and rear-quarter panels were the Electra’s other standout characteristics. A real classic beauty, succeeding models of the Buick Electra like the early `70s versions remained headturners that make a nice addition to the a car connoisseur’s collection.
