Used Pontiac Trans Am

Pontiac Trans Am 150

The Pontiac Trans Am was introduced into the market as part of Firebird. The Firebird Trans Am was then known as an upscale variety of the Firebird, featuring upgraded engine horsepower, handling, and suspension. Minor aesthetic differences such as redesigned hood and wheels also set the Trans Am apart from the rest of the Firebird models. As the name Trans Am was already a registered trademark, GM had to pay the Sports Car Club of America $5 for every Trans Am car sold. From being an independent brand in 1969 up to the brand’s end in 2002, four generations of Trans Ams were produced. The platform that the Trans Am was built on was the F-body platform, which is the same platform as that of the Chevrolet Camaro’s.

Along with the Firebird, the nameplate of the Trans Am was retired in 2002. Its body, though, still saw action in the IROC Racing Series until 2006, when the series closed.

BMW GINA Light Visionary Concept Model

Most concept cars lets the automotive designers imagine things running around, but landing with a successful result. BMW had an idea to do something awkward, yet astonishing by molding a car into fabric. Instead of metal and steel, the GINA Light Visionary Model has a body of fabric over the metal to lets its drivers shape it to their will.

Chris Bangle, head of the design for BMW says, “challenge existing principles and conventional processes.” The BMW GINA has been built on Z8 chassis and a 4.4-liter V8 and six-speed automatic transmission. BMW has stated that the fabric is resistant to water and polyurethane-coated.

Drivers can easily get in and out with ease by their interior, which actually is quite fascinating. I would encourage people to get this car because it is a different trend of designs from most other cars today in the market.

Maserati Quattroporte S

Maserati has been in the market for 45 years, not being a dominant force though. Two companies have overridden Maserati’s best cars, Ferrari and Porsche. Ever since 2003, the fifth generation of the Quattroporte has reached a new high of desirability, due to the largely Ferrari-derived V-8 engine. Quattroporte is now one of the sportiest luxury sedans ever.

Maserati Quattroporte S

Maserati had a success with their new midcycle styling and interior refresh. The top-of-the-line Quattroporte S is powered by a 4.7 –liter V-8. Quattroporte S has 19-inch wheels that are unique in design; also Maserati had made little changes, but large enough to the Quattroporte’s insides.

It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds and it retail at around $124,000. Quattroporte has remained as one the sportiest sedans for its buyers on the inside and out.

Used BMW M Coupe

BMW Z4 M Coupe in BlueThe BMW M Coupe could be considered as a fraternal twin of the M Roadster. It was developed by a BMW M/Motorworks team headed by Burkhard Göschel, with the end in view of improving on the structural and torsional rigidity of the E36/8 Z3 roadster’s chassis. The BMW board approved the idea but on the condition that the M Coupe production would be as cost-effective as possible. Thus, many body panels of the BMW M Coupe are the same in design as those of the Z3 version of the M Roadster, including the A-pillar forward, the doors, and most interior components.

Parts designs from the Z3 coupe versions were likewise adapted in the M Coupe like the chassis and drive train. Additionally, the M Roadster’s semi-trailing arm rear suspension design was also incorporated in the BMW M Coupe. But to give credit to the Göschel team, they were able to produce an M Coupe that delivers superior handling despite having to adapt many features from the M Roadster.
