Used Ford Bronco II

ford bronco II 150
The Ford Bronco II was another compact SUV which was available in the market from 1984 until 1990. Ford Bronco II was produced by Ford to offer an alternative to the other company’s models such as Chevrolet S10 Blazer and Toyota 4 Runner.

The Ford Bronco II was Ford’s first compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) after the original full-size Bronco which was produced from 1966 to 1977. Ford Bronco II is typically smaller then the first Bronco, but is identical to the Ford Ranger mechanically and structurally, with some exception in details.

While all full-size Broncos were four-wheel drive, it is optional in Bronco II. One of the weak points of Bronco II is the tendency of the cylinder head to crack when the engine overheats. This in turn can cause leakage of the internal coolant which can further contaminate the oil. This situation if not discovered on time can lead to severe damage in the engine.

Hamann Porsche 911 Turbo Stallion

(from Hamann Press Release) A thoroughbred stallion with 630 horse powers: The HAMANN STALLION based on the Porsche 911 Turbo

Like an Arabian stallion collecting its attention for a jump. Concentrated and full of dynamic body tension. This is how the silhouette of the super sports car called STALLION presents itself. But the latest development of the premium refiner HAMANN MOTORSPORT offers far more than a fascinating new aerodynamics concept. The efficiency boost to 630 hp and the HAMANN-sport chassis turn the STALLION into one of the most powerful and fastest sports car in the whole world.
Less roof – more wings
The most striking eye-catcher of the individualised Porsche is the lowered roofline. For this elaborate reconstruction, HAMANN reduces the windows and pillars up to 8 centimetres. Thereby, the reduced front surface diminishes the air resistance and therefore the fuel consumption. Moreover, this relieves the motor drastically while pushing for maximum speed. But that´s not all: HAMANN equips the STALLION with gull-wing doors allowing the door to swing diagonally outward from the body of the car. This proprietary development does not only have an extravagant design, but also an exceptional stability. The combination between the HAMANN front- and rear skirt with the altered heck spoiler profile and the roof spoiler produce additional road grip. Side spoilers between the axles put a finishing tough to the overall appearance.

Sensational performance based on well-engineered technology
The core of the STALLION is its modified engine. The HAMANN motor technicians enhance the 3.6 litres Boxer Biturbo motor from standard 480 hp / 353 kW to 630 hp / 463 kW at 6,300 rpm. The upgrade also includes two larger VNT (variable nozzle turbochargers), a sport air strainer, a stainless steel exhaust system with metal catalytic converters and a new motor management.

These are measures which certainly hit their target. The HAMANN STALLION accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds and is therefore six tenth of a second faster than its serial counterpart. The new maximum speed tag is sensational. With its efficiency boost and the reduced air resistance by HAMANN-Aerodynamics, the STALLION achieves a maximum speed of 359 km/h (223 mph) nd chassis – the combination for best roadholding and exclusive appearance HAMANN developed a sport chassis and a matching wheel-/tyre-combination for the optimal handling of the increased requirements of the STALLION. The three-part HAMANN aluminium wheel named EDITION RACE with its black lacquered star and the titan bolting of the high gloss polished rim flange clearly emphasise the affinity of the Laupheim-based refiner to motor sports.

Due to its forge technology production, it is very light and therefore significantly improves the handling- and driving qualities. The wheel-tyre combination is available in 8,5Jx20 inches with tyres measuring 245/30ZR20 in front and 12,0Jx20 rims with 325/25ZR20 tyres at the back. HAMANN recommends top-level tyres type S1 EVO by its technology partner HANKOOK. Lowering the vehicle centre by 20 mm with HAMANN sport coils also significantly improves the handling.Hamann Porsche 911 Turbo Stallion front view

Perfect combination between motor sports and lifestyle
Only the most precious materials can be found in the STALLION interior. The HAMANN upholsterers only use selected leather for covering the fittings and sport seats. Aluminium gear shift and aluminium pedals make the cockpit gleam in a noble look and perfectly match with the carbon parts of the interior set. Precisely applied embroideries of the HAMANN logo in the floor mats and headrests set further creative accents. All of these features complement one another in a stylish symbioses of motor sports flair and lifestyle.

Used Ford Bronco

ford bronco 150

The Ford Bronco, a sport-utility vehicle (SUV), was originally launched to compete against the Jeep CJ 5 and International Harvester Scout from 1966 until 1996. It was Ford Motor Company’s first compact SUV.

Generally, Broncos can be grouped into two categories: First Broncos produced in 1966 to 1977 and the full-size Broncos built from 1978 until 1996. However, the standard Bronco should be four-wheel drive and has low range. These characteristics didn’t change for 30 years of its production. There were just a few available two-wheel drive Broncos, but they were made to be sold outside the United States.

The full-size Broncos were manufactured at Ford’s Michigan Truck Plant which is located in Wayne, Michigan. This is the same plant were Broncos’ successor, Expedition, were also produced. The use of coil springs gave Bronco a 34-ft turning circle and long wheel travel. It has an anti-dive geometry which is effective for snowplowing.

Used Ford Contour

ford contour 150

The Ford Contour was a compact sedan with four doors. Ford Motor Company manufactured Ford Contour as 1995-2000 models in North America, together with Mercury Mystique which is Contour’s rebadged variant. After Ford stopped the production of Contour and Mystique, the company did not make a replacement in the line-up in North America. However, in Mexico, Contour was replaced by Ford Mondeo which was locally produced.

Ford Motor Company invested 6 billion USD to develop the CDW27 platform. This project aims to further develop Ford Contour, Mercury Mystique and Ford Mondeo in Europe. Ford Mondeo ended up having 3 body styles: the four-door sedan, the five-door liftback and the station wagon. On the other hand, its counterparts in North America were developed as strictly sedans which was a bit larger than Tempo and Topaz. It’s the standard on all models to have 5-speed manual transmission, while 4-speed automatic transmission is an option.

Used Ford Crown Victoria

ford crown victoria 150The Ford Crown Victoria is a full-size car with a rear-wheel drive made by the Ford Motor Company for North American markets starting in the mid 50s. Although the front-wheel drive platforms were getting more popular among costumers, Ford Crown Victoria still dominates the number of taxi cabs, fleet vehicles and police cars due to its tested durability, cost and performance.

Ford Crown Victoria’s conventional rear-wheel drive and V8 power made it suitable with common police driving techniques. Moreover, Ford Crown Victoria is one of the few existing passenger cars which has body-on-frame construction. It can be repaired after minor accidents without having to straighten the chassis. This is a very important benefit for police cars which are frequently used to ram a car or PIT maneuvers.

Estimated Price Range for Used Ford Crown Victoria: $1,000-$35,500
