2800 CS
The 2.5 CS was manufactured in between the years 1968-1971. It featured a 2.8 I6 engine that delivered an output power of 170 bhp.

3.0 CS
The 3.0 CS featured a 3.0 I6 engine with a capacity of 2985 cc. The engine delivered an output power of 180 bhp.

3.0 CSi
The 3.0 CSi featured a 3.0 I6 engine with electronic fuel injection system. The engine delivered an output power of 149.1 KW and the top speed is about 137 mph.

3.0 CSL
The 3.0 CSL is a lightweight sports car with an engine capacity of 3003 cc. It featured 3.2 L engine that delivered an output power of 340 bhp and 3.5 L engine that delivered an output power of 430 PS.

Jaguar XK8

The Jaguar XK8 was manufactured by Jaguar cars in the year 2000.

The body structure of the Jaguar XK8 is made in different countries where 60% of the Jaguar Xk8 was manufactured in the United Kingdom, air conditioning was made in Japan, and tires are of Italian, ABS from the U.S, lightings from the French and transmission from Germany.

The interiors of the XK8 are of the British Style. The instrument panel consists of a width book that matches with the walnut veneer and the J-gate shifter and the window lifts. The front seats are power adjustable which features hand stitched leather. The Jaguar XK8 also features chest airbags, traction control system and antilock disc brakes.

The New AJ-V8 engine has been introduced in the Jaguar XK8 which is available in two versions with a supercharged 390 hp and 290 hp engine. The top of the car can be opened or closed within a few seconds and controlled by a single switch.

The maximum speed is about 155 mph which was considered as the major drawback in the car. The car features an 18- inch alloy wheels and 19 and 20 inch wheels are available optionally.

In the 2005 model a number of safety measures have been taken where automatic speed limiter has been set up. The major highlights are exquisite style, comfort and smoothness.

Porsche 959

The Porsche 959 is a sports car produced by Porsche in between the years 1986 to 1989.

The Porsche 959 was first a Group B rally car; later it was a production car. At time of its production, the Porsche 959 was considered as the most technologically advanced sports car. It was also the high performance car where all the four wheel drive system has been used. In the year 2004 the Porsche 959 has been listed in the top spot in the “Top Sports Cars of 1980s”.

The Porsche 959 consists of a twin turbocharged six cylinder engine with water cooled heads and air cooled block. The water cooled cylinder mixes with the air cooled block, turbochargers and the 4-valve head to take out the 444 hp from the power unit.

The aerodynamics has been modified in order to increase the stability for the automatic ride height adjustment. The 959 also contained the Porsche Steuer Kupplung which was considered as the advanced wheel drive system at the time of its production.

In the year 1985 the street version of the Porsche 959 has been launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show which was later available from the year 1986. The car was produced in two levels which are “Komfort” and “Sport”. A total of 337 units were produced in the street version, finally the production of the 959 came to an end in the year 1988. The Porsche 959 is also the winner at Paris Dakar Rally held in the year 1986.

Porsche 924

The Porsche 924 is a sports car manufactured by Porsche AG in between the years 1976 to 1988.

The Porsche 924 is also the first model which comes with a front mounted, water cooled engine. The Porsche 924 was launched in the year 1975 at a motor show held at the harbour of La Grande Motte, Camargue, Southern France. The Porsche 924 was actually planned to be Volkswagen’s sports car, but Volkswagen asked Porsche to manufacture the car as a competitor to Audi I4 engine. The interiors, exteriors and transmission has been done by Porsche, a rear transaxle has been chosen to provide 48/52 weight at the front and back.

The 5-speed transmission was made available from the year 1979 where the first gear reverses below to the left side. This gear system caused a number of problems which was later replaced by the H-pattern five speeds used in the Audi. The brakes at the front are solid disc and the drum brakes at the rear. A number of modern features have been added to the interiors and exteriors but the car received a number of remarks regarding the poor performance.

924 Turbo
The 924 Turbo was launched in the year 1978 which contained a 2.0 L I4 engine, with a compression ratio of 7:5:1, modern K-26 turbocharger and increased output power of 170 bhp. The wheels are 15-inch spoke alloy wheels with disc brakes and 5-speed transmission.

924S
The 924S is a limited edition for the Le Mans, which was launched in the year 1987. The 924S delivers an output power of about 160 bhp; the car also comes with a slide sun roof and electric tilt. A total of 980 units have been produced, later the production came to an end in the year 1989.

The Porsche 912 is a sports car produced by Porsche in between the years 1965 to 1969.
