The Toyota Land Cruiser is one of the best selling classical yet modern styled 4WD or four wheel drive models manufactured and produced by Toyota Motors. Its roots can be traced as far as the 1950s as Toyota’s Jeep model vehicle. Its production began in 1954 and it has sold hundreds of thousands of units ever since. It has been produced in different versions such as convertibles, hardtops, station wagons and utility truck versions. It is also known as Toyota’s flagship when it comes to 4WD or four wheeled drive vehicles.
The latest model of the Toyota Land Cruiser is the 2008 model. This model is known as the 200 series since it shares the Lexus model’s platform and overall features and designs. It was unveiled by Toyota last 2007 in the Australian International Major Show in Sydney. It is also currently available not only in Japan, but also in the U.S., Australia and Venezuela, garnering huge sales by the tens of thousands of units since 2007.
