A number of vehicles produced by Rolls-Royce have been branded as the Rolls-Royce Phantom, beginning with Phantom I in 1925 and continuing with the Phantom II, Phantom III, Phantom IV, Phantom V, Phantom VI, Phantom, Phantom Drophead Coupé, and Phantom Coupé. As of 2009, only three Phantom models are available: the Phantom, Phantom Drophead Coupé, and Phantom Coupé.
The Phantom, launched in 2003, had one-of-a-kind features which include customers having the ability to choose from 44,000 paint and leather color. The Phantom also has a power reserve dial that shows how much of the engine's power is available, taking the place of a tachometer. The Phantom Coupe, meanwhile, signals Rolls-Royce's efforts to produce sportier, roadster-like car models, which includes a sport mode setting in its transmission. Lastly, the Phantom Drophead Coupé is a two-door four-seat convertible with a marine and nautical design exterior and a cozy, gentleman's club theme in its interior.
